Every time we go to the drive-thru, even when there is no line, we are told to drive around back and wait a few minutes. Every single time it seems they don't have enough things ready. There is nobody behind me and in a fast food drive thru I'm sorry but the expectation is as follows:
1. Place order; 2. Go to window to pay; and, 3. Receive order in a timely manner without needing to circle the building and wait for 5 minutes for 2 combos.
This may seem small and petty but this is THE ONLY A&W that consistently has these issues.
Other than that the service is friendly and the food gets made correctly 3 out of 4 times.

Parking: 6+ parking stalls plus many more on the south side of the building and in the rear.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or stairs. Ramp entrance at restaurant as well as entrance through the gas station.

I go here for the coffee and I am always greeted in what feels like a genuinely friendly manner. Michelle recognizes my voice at the drive thru and calls me by name. I don't usually order fast food, but when I do, it is from A&W and this location does not disappoint. (Atmosphere is rated a 3☆ because I don't go inside)

Ordered a mozzarella burger combo with fries and a rootbeer. Everything was fine until the last 2 fries which were moldy and gave me extreme food poisoning.

We usually stop here for a good breakfast on our way to hike the badlands - eggs, bacon, sausages, hashbrowns, tomato slices and coffee. Quick and easy. The local patrons are friendly and will engage in conversation. The staff is helpful. It's a convenient stop on Hwy 21.
Parking: Several stalls are on the pavement, but the gravel lot is convenient, level (no potholes), and well used.

Busy little spot just off the highway.. sometimes they do run out of food, well certain things I guess but other then that everything is cooked to order so comes out nice an hot an fresh. They don't have the biggest of dining areas but there is also picnic tables outside as extra seating.
