My partner and I were staying in a cabin nearby and stopped in for dinner. It was quiet and dimly lit, with only one other patron having dinner. It felt like an old tavern. Our server was an older gentleman, who was friendly in chit chatting with us and taking our order. We each had schnitzel done two ways, one with a lemon cream sauce, and one with a mushroom gravy. The lemon cream sauce was a bit tart for my tastes but the quality of the food was great. We'll definitely stop by here again if we're in and around Valleyview.

A total gem of a place. Amazing schnitzel, frosted mugs for your beer, and the ambiance is unmatched! Super friendly service. The walls and ceilings are covered in trinkets, books, mugs etc. Really happy we decided to stop in.

I don’t eat a lot of German Cuisine. But if it’s all like this place, I’m going to start eating more.
The proprietors are extremely friendly and helpful.
I was suggested an excellent meal my first time here. It was fantastic. I had the bratwurst.
I went back a few days later. I was suggested to have the schnitzel. That was even better.
I can’t wait to travel to Valleyview again for dinner.
And I cannot forget the friendly and enjoyable conversation as I waited for my food.

we have a very wide selection of museum pieces to admire as you are sitting eating your lunch or supper, over four hundred beer steins, two hundred teapots, a huge collection of nutcrackers and much much more to see, every corner has something, every time you look you see something else, it is well worth the stop.

Strudel exceptional. Definitely worth the stop.
Skip the fast-food and have some home cooked German food. This place is the best restaurant in Valley View Alberta. Absolutely delicious. Great service. My only regret is not eating there sooner.

The restaurant is quite the home atmosphere surrounded by great people. I had the special pork chops and were absolutely delicious, homemade apple sauce, veggies with a big salad which was perfect for me.

The owner is self-seeking. Apparently, according to the owner, you have to be blind in order to bring service animal with you to his place. No other reasons. He completely ignored the fact that he should accept our legal letter from doctor confirming that we can bring the service animal with us.
If it happens again to someone just please call local authorities. Business can get a huge fine for doing that.
This time we just decided to walk away as we felt unwelcome here.
