My partner and I were staying in a cabin nearby and stopped in for dinner. It was quiet and dimly lit, with only one other patron having dinner. It felt like an old tavern. Our server was an older gentleman, who was friendly in chit chatting with us and taking our order. We each had schnitzel done two ways, one with a lemon cream sauce, and one with a mushroom gravy. A total gem of a place. Amazing schnitzel, frosted mugs for your beer, and the ambiance is unmatched! Super friendly service. The walls and ceilings are covered in trinkets, books, mugs etc. Really happy we decided to stop in.
I don’t eat a lot of German Cuisine. But if it’s all like this place, I’m going to start eating more.
