Best Club House Sandwich and Cabbage soup.

The food was good. I had the Yukon breakfast from their all day breakfast menu. The restaurant was established in 1991 and it still looks like it. Great environment. The server took my order then forgot it in his pocket and didn’t give it to the kitchen. How do I know that you may ask? He told me when he brought me my food.

The sandwich was great and we scored a seat beside the fireplace to warm the spot.

I stopped again today for dinner…. My pasta was very good and the people are very friendly…. The first time I wasn't very sure given the exterior of the building but I can assure you that the food is excellent.... Whether for lunch or something else…. I stop every time I pass by and the people there recognize me every time.... See you soon friends ;)

The atmosphere was very peculiar, not in a bad way! It's a restaurant to which people go mostly when you're passing by (so I think). Place wasn't loud, staff was smiling kindly when we walked in.

It was 29 degrees outside, pretty warm, so a cold place might be what someone is looking for, but I needed to grab a jacket as it was a bit too cold inside for me.

For a mushroom burger, a pepsi and a Mediterranean salad we spent FORTY CANADIAN DOLLARS. In my opinion - not worth the price, but I'm not saying the food wasn't good. The price just wasn't appropriate.

My salad had a bit too much sauce and the fries that came with the burger were not much different from McDonald's fries.

Our plates and the glass got taken a way while I was still eating. Sure, my partner was done, but sometimes we finish each others plates or try some, so, in my opinion, the worker should have kindly asked us if we'd like the plate and cup taken away, especially seeing that it wasn't even empty, just moved a little bit further from him.

People seemed to be enjoying the place, maybe it just wasn't my cup of tea!

(Also, for the picture - we had eaten just a bit before I decided to take it while my partner went to grab a jacket - they do not serve a singular pickle.)

Prices here do not justify the food quality.
Side orders are cheaper than ordering a full meal.
I think they need to rethink the menu.

Good food but a little pricey for a greasy spoon. Hamburger and poutine 25 bucks. No drink.

This restaurant hasn’t changed in ages. It’s exactly the same when I first visited over thirty years ago. So the “atmosphere could be 5star if you like retro. I do.
