Got a few ribs to eat and wanted to take away the rest of my meal. They said it would cost $20 for a container on top of the cost of my meal. Told them I would never eat here again and she said Good. Very rude and a rip off. Keep on scamming Canadians

5 STAR REVIEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am no expert but I do like a good Chinese Restaurant. I live in Vegreville and have visited many restaurants there, I know it is difficult to find restaurants that you'll enjoy but this, was amazing. We've heard so many bad reviews yet I went there with my daughter and niece and couldn't get over the astounding way everything was! We entered the restaurant and were seated instantly. Cutlery was neatly arranged on the tables and there was NO GUM UNDERNEATH THE TABLES. No dust or crumbs.? our waitress kindly asked us if we wanted the menu or buffet .we checked out the buffet. There were cute little homemade desserts all organized and named.The food was absolutely delicious with no following food poisoning .The washrooms were perfectly clean and as far as I could tell no leaky pipes .My family and I arrived after buffet hours (the buffet closed a minute after our arrival)so the waitress had decided to be generous and allow us to pick off what was left.We ended up leaving the China Zone Resaraunt with full stomachs and a happy rest of our day we left her with a 15$ tip If you order take out it must be off of the menu.
I 100% recommend China Zone Restaurant for anyone as it has wheelchair access and is a cozy family friendly place to sit chat and enjoy a great meal.

During my recent visit to the local Chinese buffet, I encountered a blend of service and dining experiences. The server, while pleasant in demeanor, overlooked the customary offer of drinks and did not guide us to our table. However, she pleasantly surprised us by bringing over a freshly prepared dish directly to our table, a gesture not typically expected at a buffet. The food itself was a hit or miss. While some items were delightfully fresh, others seemed to have lingered on the buffet line a bit too long, lacking the freshness one would hope for. The variety was also somewhat disappointing, with several expected items missing from the selection. The cleanliness of the establishment left room for improvement. Our table felt greasy and sticky, which detracted from the overall dining experience. On a positive note, the pricing was reasonable and more affordable compared to other buffets. In conclusion, while there were commendable aspects such as the server’s kindness and the affordability, the buffet could benefit from more attentive service, a broader selection of fresh dishes, and a thorough cleaning to elevate the dining experience to match the warmth of the staff.

I had lunch here today, which was the only thing I ate. I got extremely sick. The food looked great, and she had just brought out 4 wonton for the soup. The person that works there everyday kept on talking about weight and being fat and exercising which i was all about empowering her to continue but then I figured out she was insinuating that I was fat and need to work out yoga etc at home, and after my reply, just trying to be nice, turned into oh some are just lazy she said while giggling. I don't care what your excuse is, you can be upset all you want, doesn't give you the right to be cruel! You only stopped talking to me that way cause another couple of people dropped in. I had left a bad review about Westview, and since then, just some people being rude! This is not the only bad encounter I've had!

I had to edit my review.Dec 23rd/ 2023, my sister and I decided to eat here.Today, on Christmas Eve, I'm sure paying for it.This is the only place I ate that day, and today, I'm suffering from FOOD POISONING.Non-stop vomiting, I can't even hold water down.The food I posted looks exactly how it came up, it didn't even get to digest.Beware of the buffet. I don't know how long the food has been out.Last time I'll ever go there. After today being WIPED out for an entire day. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
