It’s always the way, the best Canadian Chinese food is always in a smaller town. Chin’s Cafe is one of the best in Alberta.
I wish I could move this location to Edmonton so I’d be closer, but it’s well worth the 1 hour and 15 minute drive.
Incredibly delicious food with warm and friendly service. We’re so happy to have found this little gem while on a quick business trip this way.

Chins is the best Chinese food in Alberta - no question. The ginger beef is always tender and perfectly cooked, not hard and tough to chew like so many other restaurants. Actually, I could go on and on about every item in the menu! It’s all so good, freshly cooked and served with a smile by some of the kindest and most sincere people. They truly appreciate your business so please supper them!
I recently visited Chin’s in Vegreville, and it was a delightful experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. The ginger beef was a standout, perfectly balanced and delicious. I also tried their special Chin’s egg rolls and I’ve honestly never tried better (I ordered another one to take home)! The staff was incredibly friendly and never let my glass be more than half empty, making the whole dining experience even better. If you're looking for great Chinese food in a cozy setting, Chin’s is definitely the place to go!
