First time here. We come to Vegreville often and like to try different places for lunch. I thought it would be more like a diner, but it was more like a sports bar. The menu was typical sports bar food. We ordered their special which was a burger with smoked meat and cheese. It came with fries and choice of soup or salad. The burger was good but the fries were old and dry. The salad consisted of 2 cherry tomatoes, 2 small pieces of cucumber and a handful of iceberg lettuce. The shocker came went we went to pay and found out these burgers were 21.00 a piece, without tip. My fault for not asking ahead of time, but in no way was this meal worth $21. I will not go back.

Summer time sangrias! Excellent food... everything we’ve tried is delicious. Service is always fast and friendly. Great for family or group of friends. Roomy and wheelchair accessible.

We were in Vegrevill for hockey and went to the Diner after a game, ended up going back for a second time & tried for a 3rd on Sunday but sadly they were closed, good food, large portions and our waitress was super friendly and returned to the table often to check on drinks/food, no complaints here and would stop in more often if the drive wasn't 6.5 hrs lol,

Overall: an good diner experience in the mid-range of price, clearly managed by a family. Atmosphere: 4/5 Comfortable, and with a typical Japanese layout. Staff: 5/5 Attentive and professional. Food: 5/5 Fresh, flavourful, and well cooked.

We were to meet our parents here for lunch, halfway between Edmonton and Vermilion. We arrive and no parents. The lady who runs this family restaurant immediately proceeded to phone around to other restaurants in Vegreville to help track them down. So helpful! Couldn't find them when suddenly they appear, have been doing a bit of shopping while waiting for us. Turns out Dad's phone was not ringing. We then proceeded to have a delicious lunch, a great reunion all in this fun restaurant. Highly recommended!!!

I had the fish and chips. The batter on the fish was the perfect crunch and very tasty. My husband enjoyed the hot hamburger sandwich. The veggies were a little bland and overcooked. We've eaten here before (out of towners) and would highly recommend it to anyone. Lovely, friendly service and fantastic ambience.

Disappointing. I was hoping for homemade deliciousness and it mostly wasn't. Ukrainian Platter had what tasted like Cheemo perogies, bottom of the jar ends of sliced pickled beets on a piece of iceberg lettuce. Kielbasa was ok. The suaerkraut and onions were good. Spouse had the maple bbq burger that was pretty good although the patty was small. Fries were fries. The nacho grande was just a typical nacho starter, nothing like the pic in the menu. All in all, meh. Won't go again. For Vegreville being known for all things Ukrainian, they should take the Ukrainian platter off the menu. I am Ukrainian and that was insulting. Decor and staff were fantastic.
