Usually Subway lacks those smiles. But the gentleman who served us was one of the rarest. We were driving from Saskatchewan to Calgary and wanted a quick bite. What a nice place to eat.
We stopped at the Subway in Vegreville for lunch and had such a wonderful experience! The staff overheard that it was my son’s birthday, and Gary, who seemed to be the manager, went out of his way to make it special. He provided exceptional service, and we had such a lovely, friendly conversation with him—he truly made my son feel celebrated.
The food was, as always, fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was the warm and personal service. This kind of experience is rare, and it’s why this Subway will now always be our go-to lunch stop on the way from the city to the cabin.
