My husband and I stopped in with our three little girls for breakfast and the experience was truly delightful! The bread and jam was homemade and absolutely awesome, the portions were generous and the owner Donna made our day with her kindness. She even gave my girls fresh baked cookies after the meal. One of my favourite things about small towns is stopping in to little shops and restaurants. Not to mention that the owner works so hard and gives back to the community with meals on wheels etc. So nice to see hood quality food and feel a family environment!

Great homestyle meals every day. I worked down the street from Food with Flare for three days and ate here twice. Very good food and desert. Smorgasbord style.

Visited thier food truck at the Coronation fair. Had a hamburger that was just awful. The patty was soggy and pale like it had just bee microwaved and the french fries were sketchy. Half of my fries had been through the fryer twice and were super greasy and overcooked. Spent the rest of the day with indigestion.

Stepped in here not long after Brian (left a bad review based on service).Didn't take long to figure out that being a bakery and catering company, the restaurant side was very much help yourself. Small town, the other customers were kind enough to guide us through the experience. Food was great, quaint atmosphere. When we needed anything we just stepped into the back and were promptly attended to. Delicious cinnamon buns by the way.If you want to be waited on hand and foot, go to the city. If you want a nice new place to eat and don't mind asking a question or two? Sit down and have a bite.

Walked in and waited for a menu while the server chatted with her friends. After asking for a menu and getting a rude response I just put it down and went elsewhere.Probably decent for retired people who’ve got time to kill - clearly not for working people.
My spouse was in the hospital and searched up for a nearby restaurant. So, I came here based on the review, and they deserve a 5 star rating. Nothing beats the small town cooks! I'll be here again when I come to Viking!

Local coffee connection where neighbours can pull up a chair and join in the conversation. A good place for crews to get early breakfasts and packed lunches. A valued caterer for east central Alberta.
