Amy's has become a regular lunchtime spot for my mom and me, thanks to its consistently fresh and tasty buffet offerings. The variety of dishes is impressive, and I'm always pleased to find the salt and pepper squid, a personal favorite, reliably on the menu. However, it's worth noting that the service tends to be frequently slow, likely due to the lone server handling multiple tasks, even during less busy periods. Despite this, the flavorful food and welcoming ambiance make Amy's a reliable choice for a satisfying Western Chinese dining experience.

Revisited the restaurant January 20th/24. Found the buffet items not upto sratch or as good as in the past. No beef/broccoli item.Fried rice was gummy/gooy taste. No plain rice available. And other items in the main did not appear and taste or as freshly cooked. Not the same dining experience as in the past for sure.Hope they can improve back to past standards.

It's what you'd expect from a Chinese food restaurant on the highway in small town rural alberta. The buffet nothing to write home about, but it's also not horrible. There is a good selection of items that are restocked frequently, but much of it is not made in-house and instead is reheated / deepfried. The staff is great, but the building leaves alot to be desired cosmetically. If you are looking for an okay buffet that will leave you fully, give it a shot.Dietary restrictions: They ha e Gluten Free options, but the chances of cross contamination are high.

Was exactly what you would expect and what we wanted to enjoy! Very impressive variety of food available at the buffet. Wonton soup was a great way to warm up after a cold rainy fall day. If your looking for classic north American Chinese food I would totally recommend. Very kind and friendly staff.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly and accommodating.

We don't usually do buffets, nor do we often do Western-style Chinese. But when in small-town Alberta, and it's getting late and you're hungry, you pick the #1 spot in the town (according to Tripadvisor!) and go for it. The buffet has a decent selection of favourites. Plenty of batter-fried meats, dumplings, good won-ton soup, two choices of noodles, fried rice, vegetables and a gluten-free chicken/veg dish. There's a dessert bar with cookies, Jello, canned fruit cocktail and some squares. The nicest surprise was the S&P shrimp. The "meh" was the Shanghai noodles that had been doused in soya sauce and dried out under the heat lamp. Most of the dishes were hot and fresh, as they cook small quantities at a time and refill as needed. But the Shanghai noodles had seen better days. The food is very very salty, so if that's an issue for your health, you probably shouldn't eat here. But for $18.95/adult (cheaper for seniors and children), it's a decent meal.
