My wife stayed in the car. I came in and checked it out. Nobody in here looked like any sort of a challenge to me💪 The burger was medoicre at best. Some fries were hot, some warm and some were cold. Thats different. Beer was good. I had many beers before hitting the pisser and scanning the bar once more for anyone who wants a piece of Big Bad Billybob. There were no would be tough guys on this night. Nobody wanted this. So i left feeling somehow even more masculane than when i walked in. Top dog in this mofo. Naw mean?!?!!?🐕
Vegetarian options: They put letuce on burgers. Oh and tomato. And they serve fries with it.
Parking: Parking lot isnt somewhere i would set up my tent but its descent. No prob parking my shit box for the night either.

I've traveled a great deal around the world and this is one of the best pubs I have ever been to anywhere.
The service is outstanding, efficient and fast. The food is well chosen well cooked and reasonably priced.
A good selection of draft beers including one craft beer. A decent wine list.
The music was a nice mix and played at a reasonable volume. It wasn't too low to hear and it wasn't so loud it interrupted conversations.

Great place to eat! Staff was amazing, our service was great. Our son is in the army and said it’s a great place to eat and took us here. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Was in town overnight and decided to try out this place. The patio, dining room, and lounge areas are all very nice and cozy... Very inviting actually.
However, the staff definitely need to improve their customer service. I was greeted by a gentleman, who I assume was a host. I don't think he meant to come off as brash but he was.
Then my server seemed annoyed at my presence. She cut me off with abrupt replies twice before I could finish either my sentences. All of this really took away from the inviting atmosphere that I previously mentioned. It took 10 minutes before my server returned to even ask if I wanted anything to drink. By this point, I had enough time to decide on my entire order.
I ordered a ribeye steak which was obviously previously frozen and the steak was very chewy and not tender whatsoever. It did taste good and was cooked to the right doneness though. The sides were all good and the beer was nice and cold. Overall, the price I paid for the dinner was not worth it.
I won't be going back, which is too bad, because it had such potential.

We were in Wainwright 3-9 Sep and ate at the 1979 Taphouse everyday. The food was alway outstanding, great specials. Service was unbelievable with a special shout out to Leanne (outstanding customer service) professional and a great personality Mikayla, Laura and Britton were amazing as well

Update 3. 4th visit. Place is hit or miss on steak quality. Last striploin I had was old like stanky old. ... And was drowned in lemons to hide it. What in the actual.....! If you have other options. Head elsewhere. Staff is excellent still.
Updated review still an excellent staff. With great service. One star up for their excellent ? steak tonight. 10oz striploin and they nailed it. Steak house redeemed! Next time I eat here will be the finale of reviews.
Previous review - Hostess and wait staff. They were above excellent. Until they forgot to see how my meal was. Gave me my space to eat without being overbearing, which is appreciated... However, no question from the staff as to how my "steakhouse" steak was. Hence the lost rating. Side dishes superb in portion and cooked value. Food was tasty. Kitchen definitely Rushed my steak ( or just doesn't know) as a result it came out dry and overcooked... Not what I was expecting based on all of the excellent customer reviews. I am willing to give it another chance. Updated review to follow.....
This is such an excellent place! Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, super clean, and with a beautiful patio. The owner, Igor, is super welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend checking this gem out! You will not regret it.

Best experience I've had there so far. The food was great, the service good, even though it was busy and it was clean. A little loud for my tastes but understandable, it was playoffs after all.
Parking: It can get crowded but not bad to navigate.
