Hands down the BEST Mexican restaurant ive ever been to in Alberta!! Great food, lovely owners and the perfect atmosphere!
Don't miss this spot. Good place to watch the game and enjoy a meal. Tacos were really good. Also the taco fries poutine style dish is very good. Good cocktails.

Had dinner last night, we had the Crunch Wrap and the Smashburger with Sweet Potato Fries. The flavours were so strong and delicious, I don't know what they are putting in the food but it tasted soooo good!! It would have been nice to see a side with the crunch wrap though.
We had the fried banana for dessert and WOW!!! it was awesome! I'm already looking forward to our next trip.

Went for dinner with a friend, had a great time but when I was severed my drink I was not sure there was no alcohol in it at first, I myself don’t drink, I asked the male server he was rude and completely brushed me off, then he came back around and asking if why would I think that and asking if I was pregnant, then completely brushing me off again. Since then I have talked to friends who have gone here, and some concerns have been raised about this male staff member, things along the lines of not paying out tips properly, or overall with holding them, as well treating servers or other employees poorly.
I have been going to this restaurant from the beginning when it was a food truck, to say I am not impressed with the service of this employee would be the case. I hope this changes as I used to recommend this restaurant.

The food is amazing. Very authentic Mexican food, tasty and the sauces are excellent. Service could be improved, sometimes they struggle when it's too busy but it's my favourite restaurant in town by far.
Best taco spot in wainwright! My go to when I am in the area for work! Must try any of the tacos and the churrios cheesecake!

Get the nachos - you will not regret it! Me and my husband both agreed they were the best nachos we’ve ever had in our lives. Even better than the nachos in actual Cancun Mexico :)
Edit: went a second time and nachos were good but they gave themselves a tip at checkout (decided themselves the amount) which is wild behavior being that I had to ask for cutlery and never got the water I asked for. Intink they were hoping my husband wouldn’t notice and would give thems another tip but he just hit no tip instead. We were going to tip but we were obviously going to decide the amount to begin with. I don’t engage with food establishments that do this. I won’t be back.

Morales is phenomenal and the quality of the food and drinks rivals that of the big city places (most of the time I’d say it’s better). Always a treat when their street corn comes back on the menu. Their non-alcoholic drinks are delicious and you can never go wrong with their pastor tacos. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner in Wainwright! Not to mention the decor is just as bright and warm as their outstanding staff.
