Glacier Bistro Starbucks

The coffee and mocha we ordered had absolutely no taste. Tasted like warm milk. Horrible experience.
Don't waste your money here.
Better get it from local businesses.

One staff was very sweet and helpful while the other was quite rude and short. They only had straws available without wrappers and in a mason jar that everyone touches which grossed me out as you don’t know where peoples hands have been. When I asked if they had any other straws the women working huffed stating “I’d have to come around”, when I proceeded to say OK she then huffed again and came around, barely looked and proceed to say very curtly “that’s all we have” then walked away. No apology or empathy. As well very overpriced (more then Starbucks usually is) compared to everyone else for mediocre food and drinks.

Just got a Medium Black coffee there, for 5$. You can say whatever you want, but 5$ for medium coffee it's just disgusting. And it didn't even taste good (Bitter). Save your $ and go somewhere else, this place is totally overpriced on everything.

We went in this morning to get our coffee since we forgot to pack some for our camping trip.

Asked for a pup cup and they scoffed at us and said "no".

It's a Starbucks?? It's a tiny cup of whip cream?? If you are busy, fine but it was 730 and we were the only ones there. A simple, "we don't do that at this location" would suffice.

The coffee was decent but not enough to wash the bad taste out of my mouth--
will wait the extra 30 min for Tamarack to open next time.

This is supposed to be a place to hang out and chill. I understand the store is busy as it caters to many customers every day and baristas get tired too, however, the barista who took our order is quite rude and simply dismissed our request. Also, our coffees didnt taste exactly like starbucks. Hoping to have better experience next time when we visit waterton. :)

Honestly had good experience all 3 times we visited. I get that this is not starbucks corp. I hope people who left reviews understands that it is NOT cheap to rent out commercial space in a tourist attractions. The price is reasonable for all the fees a small business owners handle.

The ladies were pleasant every time we made it in.

I really wanted to give this place a good review. Such a cute shop. The service was pleasant no problems with that.

It's the food.... it's overpriced and its not delicious (if someone says it is they need to up their taste standard in food or maybe they've never been to a good restaurant ?‍♀️ haha)

We got muffins, smoothies & snacks. First- the muffins were extremely dry and required a drink to eat it. Second- you pay $12 for a smoothie but what it really is is 1 cup of minute made juice, 4 fruit chunks, 2 tbsp of yogurt and ice... $12!?!?! It tasted like watery fruit it wasn't even delicious and to pay $12 for it!? We didn't finish it- it was too gross. Your basically paying $12 for 1 cup of watered down juice that cost them only a few dollars to make. Unfortunate thing about waterton is the food quality is way below standard for such a high price. However glacier bistro disappointed me the most. I hope they can bring more quality to their food to make it worth while for tourists. Save your money go somewhere else- even Lakeside beside them had better food, you got more and it was the same price (however smoothies r the same on both sides and baked goods so don't get them) We paid $52 for 2 smoothies, 2 muffins, cliff bar,1 Gatorade and a mid day square at glacier bistro. At Lakeside we got waffles, and the classic dish with side of turkey sausage and fruit for $56 tasted better not the best but better. So go next door instead. I hope you do better glacier. Your reviews don't look good....

The quality is not the same as other Starbucks, by far… my wife is a Starbucks partner, and she was 100% sure about that. And she always gets discount in other stores since she is partner, but she was not allowed to get any discount here.

I come here almost every day that I'm in Waterton, I think that the reviews are very snobby and unrealistic, there's a few great reasons as to why I'd recommend this place.

I am debunking some of the other reviews, because they rarely make drinks incorrectly. You ask for whatever you want, and they make it however you want. (Almond milk/Coconut milk/Oat milk or cream based)

Some of the really good ones are:
Mocha Frappe
Chai Tea Latte (it's extra good with a shot of espresso if you like coffees)
Cold Brew (it's really good if you like deep, strong coffee flavours)

Even besides the coffee, the food is a little pricey but it tastes very good. It tastes different than the last time I've been here but I really enjoy the pasta salad.

Much thanks to Hannah who served me today the last time I went, her sense of humor was really nice to hear.

As being said they serve SB product. But their coffee lacks the taste of "coffee". Staff are nice and accommodating. They just need more training.

If you want to order hot milk, this is the place to go. You will never taste espresso in the cup. The milk will always be overheated. They don’t know the difference between a cappuccino and a latte. Everything is the same.
