Great little café, that serve Starbucks coffee but everything in there is double the price than it should be. $35 for 2 coffees and 2 pre-made breakfast sandwiches. While nice people completely not worth the prices they charge

My boyfriend and I went to this Starbucks for breakfast before our trip back home. There were two baristas working at the time. One was very kind, the other not so much.

The coffee machine broke, the barista was livid, and started yelling and cussing in front of myself and all the customers. The other barista seemed taken back by this.

After we sat down, the barista’s friend came in and they were talking poorly about other team members. They stood and talked over the counter for a while. The other barista was working. They were talking very loudly and inappropriately. all of the customers could hear the conversation.

I ordered a bagel and an iced coffee. The bagel was fine but the coffee tasted old and like it was just a cup of iced milk. I politely asked for a new drink or a refund. The manager came out and was very pleasant. She told the girls to make me a new drink without charging me the difference. After the manager left, the rude barista began to make my drink while talking under her breath to the other barista about me. She said “why can’t people just be happy”. When the barista handed me my new drink she said “here’s your drink, I make this everyday so there shouldn’t be another issue” in a very snarly tone. As a walked away she continued to talk to me. She said again “I hope you enjoy your drink, hopefully there’s no problem this time” in an unprofessional tone. I could tell she was being sarcastic with me.

They made me a caramel macchiato the second time. It was a cup of hot milk. The coffee has no flavour. You are paying high prices for just a glass of warm milk. We didn’t expect this kind of service in such a beautiful town, especially from a Starbucks which usually provides great customer service.

My parents visited this location today for a coffee, and unfortunately, their experience was extremely disappointing. When my mom went to add what she thought was milk to her coffee, she realized it was actually a clear cleaning solution in the milk container. She immediately brought it to the attention of the staff, who seemed indifferent, simply poured it out, and added actual milk—without much concern for what had just happened.

Even after the replacement, the coffee still tasted off, and to make matters worse, my mom noticed ants crawling on the table. She informed the staff again, but there was no real acknowledgment or apology. As they were leaving, my parents overheard the staff laughing—making them feel disrespected and dismissed.

We’re regular Starbucks customers and have always experienced excellent service, which is why this situation was so surprising and disappointing. I sincerely hope this feedback encourages better food safety practices, cleanliness, and customer care in the future.

My recent visit to Starbucks Waterton was profoundly disappointing and utterly beneath the brand’s esteemed reputation.
The concoction of two large and one medium Java Chip Frappuccino arrived insipid, dominated by pulverized ice and devoid of any discernible coffee or cocoa nuance.
An absurd twenty-minute wait compounded my frustration, only to receive a beverage that resembled diluted water rather than a premium Frappuccino.
Spending \$27 on such a lethargic and flavorless concoction felt nothing short of a brazen affront to customer expectations.
I have never encountered such egregious negligence in drink preparation at Starbucks, and I sincerely hope corrective measures are taken.

Everything is pretty much overpriced. Got their sandwiches in the morning and it's not worth it at all. Average tasting and wasn't filing.

Better off going to a restaurant and you'd be more satisfied with the food + cost.

Might be okay if you're looking for a quick drink to go..

The hot chocolate was delicious. I had a coffee in the morning and the hot chocolate later in the day.
The service was very polite.
I love the personal touch of writing my name on the cup.

Don't waste your money here.

One staff was very sweet and helpful while the other was quite rude and short. They only had straws available without wrappers and in a mason jar that everyone touches which grossed me out as you don’t know where peoples hands have been. When I asked if they had any other straws the women working huffed stating “I’d have to come around”, when I proceeded to say OK she then huffed again and came around, barely looked and proceed to say very curtly “that’s all we have” then walked away. No apology or empathy. As well very overpriced (more then Starbucks usually is) compared to everyone else for mediocre food and drinks.

Just got a Medium Black coffee there, for 5$. You can say whatever you want, but 5$ for medium coffee it's just disgusting. And it didn't even taste good (Bitter). Save your $ and go somewhere else, this place is totally overpriced on everything.

We went in this morning to get our coffee since we forgot to pack some for our camping trip.

Asked for a pup cup and they scoffed at us and said "no".

It's a Starbucks?? It's a tiny cup of whip cream?? If you are busy, fine but it was 730 and we were the only ones there. A simple, "we don't do that at this location" would suffice.

The coffee was decent but not enough to wash the bad taste out of my mouth--
will wait the extra 30 min for Tamarack to open next time.

This is supposed to be a place to hang out and chill. I understand the store is busy as it caters to many customers every day and baristas get tired too, however, the barista who took our order is quite rude and simply dismissed our request. Also, our coffees didnt taste exactly like starbucks. Hoping to have better experience next time when we visit waterton. :)
