Delicious Italian dishes.
First time here and definitely the last. The food was completely bland — the calamari was the only thing somewhat okay. The chicken parmesan tasted awful, almost like it was expired. Not sure if it was the sauce or the chicken, but it was inedible, and the pasta had the same terrible taste. Despite being the only customer, it took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. I couldn’t even finish my meal and left it after just a few bites.

Initially I was disappointed when trying to make a reservation. Was told to call back. We actually went to the restaurant and made the reservation, the restaurant was busy so give them grace if they sound stressed.
The food was amazing great presentation and flavour. Cheers to chef James. Cheers to the waitress as well. I forgot her name

During our recent holiday / roadtrip we stayed at the Glacier Suites in Waterton. The Redrock Traittoria is located nextdoor. The restaurant is small and the food is excellent, also our waiter Nick (if i remember correctly) did an excellent job. Highly recommended when you are visiting Waterton Town and are looking for a good plate of pasta
We very much enjoyed our dinner! Our server was amazing! We will return to enjoy dinner here again.
My husband had the spagetti and meatballs which were great. I had the risotto omg I think they dropped the salt shaker in it. It was horrible. We waited for over an hour and a half for these 2 meals. Only 3 tables. They were under staffed I guess. It's their slow season so I can understand the wait. But no excuse for that risotto.

Some really nice Italian in Waterton. Had salmon, chicken Parm and ravioli. All very good. Love that they stay open past October when most places close for the winter. Friendly and quality service and relaxed atmosphere.

Our server was amazing! Food was delicious, except for the veal chop by hubby had. He said he tasted burnt throughout the whole veal chop. He thinks the sauce was burnt. We would come back again.
Our server was wonderful considering how busy it was. The calamari and the caprese salad were great however the spaghetti and meatballs, salmon dish, the rigatoni dish were a bit too salty.
Spent a day in Waterton and had dinner at Red Rock Trattoria. It was one of the best Italian meals we have had in years. We would highly recommend and will be back. The service was excellent, the meal was amazing.

This goes down as one of those meals you remember forever. It started with their marinated olives (omg!)—warm olive variety, garlic, red peppers, sun-dried tomatoes—and cheese bread, a bottle of Chianti, and an incredible variety of pastas we all enjoyed. Totally recommend!

This is where you should eat in Waterton. You found the restaurant, stop looking. Had the truffle chicken park and the spaghetti and meatballs and both were excellent. Rich, good flavour balance. Service was 10/10.

We enjoyed our meal so much the first night we came back again. Our only disappointment on the first night was they had run out of burrata! On our second visit we had the arugula burrata salad and it was worth coming back for. Other choices were all good — ravioli, gnocchi, and the sausage rigatoni. Our server was friendly and efficient. The dining room is small and the tables fairly close together, but this also gives an opportunity to meet your “neighbors”.
The perfect place for a charming dinner - we got an assortment of (vegetarian) appetizers to share and a bottle of Prosecco. Everything was delicious, the staff was very friendly, the place is cute, clean, and has an intimate setting. Also loved the black and white photography of the lake on the walls! Will definitely go back again the next time we visit Waterton.

The food was spectacular! The service was amazing. I had the veal chop which was cooked to perfection. Be prepared it is a huge portion. My friend had the Bison ravioli. Again, big portion and absolutely delicious. Our waiter was excellent and very friendly. I can't wait to go back.
