We had lunch at Stanley's BBQ Grill House after a round of golf at the adjacent course. The service was fast and friendly and the wings that I had were very, very good. Ed was pleased with his burger and Caesar salad. Even if you're not playing golf, I'd recommend having a bite to eat here. Prices are reasonable, the views are beautiful and it's fun to watch folks practice putting.

Meeting friends to golf at Waterton Lakes National Park is a sentimental, important event, dating back 3 decades. Memories and experiences are shared and re-shared at this picturesque golf course, close to Waterton Lake and the townsite. Today we met friends for our infrequent visits and golf. Firstly, let me laud the golf course for its beauty and conditioning. Today the course was in first rate condition. The greens were fast and playable, presenting a challenge to remember their relationship to the mountains and valley. The course played excellent and the speed was fast. Check in was easy and prices were reasonable to other courses nearby. The only issue was the fact that, on a hot July day, there was no water available on the course. This takes us to the restaurant and the very poor service we received today. Signs announced that the restaurant was to open at 11. At 11:15, a less than friendly host opened the doors and when we asked if we could reasonably expect to eat in 45 minutes, we were informed that it would depend on what we ordered. Shortly after being seated, another server came to take our order. When the food arrived, there was not one thing that we had ordered served as ordered. For example salad had been ordered with Club Sandwiches. No one received a salad. (No One) Wings that had been ordered “salt and pepper” were delivered as “hot wings, with hot sauce”. As a comment, Club Sandwiches are not usually delivered with the sandwich drenched in barbecue sauce. When we asked for a refill on a soda, we were informed that they were too busy to comply. (There was one other table that was occupied). At the turn, we needed our water bottles replenished. The server informed us that there was water available for purchase and very reluctantly, half filled my water bottle, refusing to fill one of my friend’s bottle. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND STANLEY’S BAR B Q GRILL at the Waterton Golf Course. Enjoy the course, bring lots of water.

Wonderful new owners, at this golf course restaurant. I found the food to be fresh, creative and very tasty. I would not hesitate to return.

We ordered club house sandwiches. They came in a wrap!! That's not a club house sandwich. Then they replaced this wrap with a bun!Club house sandwiches are made with bread and are stacked, meat not chopped up. Also the staff didn't know anything about the beer list.Also ordered a garden salad not mixed greens.This is a Golf Course and should go back to more home style food and beer's that are not all craft beer's. Finally they said oh yes we have Coors and Molson, should have alcohol listed on the menu.Really felt we shouldn't have had our bill cut at least in half.Lynn and Claude Revering

We ordered triple decker clubhouse sandwich and they put it in a bun without telling us that they changed the menu. We ordered a basket of sweet potato fries, they dont have stocks and they just decided to change it to basket of fries and not asking us if its ok. Lastly, they asked what kind of sauce for the ribs, I said BBQ and they gave is plum and sweet and sour sauce... very disappointing and very frustrated with the service. For a pricey menu, their service is really bad...

The smashed blue cheese Brussels spouts were vey special. We also enjoyed The Iron sandwiches. The staff was so very nice. I highly recommend.

This is a brand new restaurant starting this season at the Watertongolf course. Loved the new restaurant and menu. Some of the menu items had a Latina flare to them. I played it safe and had the chicken strip with Ceasar salad and it also had pickled corn on the side. Delicious. I'm looking forward to going back and trying something new and being adventurous.

Came up to Waterton for the weekend, and found this gem of a restaurant at the golf course. Along with the stunning views, their burgers were delicious! The service was top notch -- fun and friendly people. Burgers and cold Corona on their awesome patio. Highly recommend!

It was nice finding this place for having breakfast. You will find nice food, as pancakes, french toast, sausaches, fruit, pastry, etc. good coffee and juices. It is a buffet and the price is so good! Totally recommended.

I personally WOULD NOT recommend this place just based on the fact I was once a server there. I witnessed a lot of uncleanliness. Food and utensils for the customers get dropped on the floor and get put back on the plate like nothing happened. Hair, bugs, unknown particles in the ice for drinks. They have mens league every Thursday and the Executive chef Ross sold ribs for the special. He washed those ribs in the same sink they use to dump the dirty mop water in. They also wash all their produce in that same sink. Erin the server who is there all the time likes to pick her nails with the utensils and puts them back without cleaning them. Go for the golf but HARD pass on the food. Yuck!
