Vimy's Lounge and Grill Reviews
Our first time staying here and it will unfortunately be our last :(
We had room 1506 - room was clean. Discovered an hour into our stay that the toilet was leaking water from the base. When we shared this with the gentleman at the front desk yesterday evening prior to having supper at the resort restaurant, he had maintenance check our room while we ate supper. After dinner, the front desk gentleman reported to us that the maintenance worker noted that the wax seal had...read full review
Amazing staff, very accomodating and great food.
My girl and I enjoy travelling and trying new restaurants and experiences, and returning to our favourites. After a long week for my girl, I thought a special and relaxing weekend was due- so let’s try Waterton National Park and Waterton Lakes Lodge! Vimy's Lounge and Grill offers a cozy atmosphere with lovely knotty pine decor, creating a clean and fresh environment. It is a great place to hang out on a rainy day in Waterton National Park, especially with views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant features popular dishes like the Swiss mushroom burger and salad, though the plating could be improved. Breakfast options include eggs Benedict, which some found unsatisfactory, while others enjoyed their omelette. The menu also includes a Butter Paneer Masala bowl with soft naan and a Tofu Sandwich with side fries, both praised for their taste and portion size. The restaurant has large windows where visitors might see wildlife, like deer passing by outside. The ambiance is enjoyable and kid-friendly, with crayons and paper available for children. Parking is convenient, and the quality of food is generally good. However, some reviews mention slow service, especially during busy times, and longer wait times for food and refills. Despite the occasional wait, many find it worth revisiting for the tasty meals and relaxed atmosphere.
