Food was ok until piece of packaging plastic found in the dish. Talk to the staff they only redo the rice portion not the whole dish

Stay away from this restaurant if you can. Poor food quality and terrible service. The chips was presented as dark color, too overcooked in oil and looked like soaked with oil for long time. They did finally replaced with a more fresh one at my request, it still looked quite brown and dark. In addition, the second I hit the credit card payment button, I realized that I had a 10% discount coupon as the guest of the lodge and forgot to use it. When asked to void the transaction so we can apply the 10% coupon, we were told impossible because we “already made the payment” even though the payment was made a second ago. This is ridiculous statement I ever heard of.

We stayed at the Waterton Lakes Resort and ate at Vimy's 3 times. Twice Alex was our waiter. He was terrific: likely the best waiter we have encounted in many years of travel.The food was excellent for all of our visits. Cannot say the same for some of the other restaurants in town,

Me and some co workers went to Vinny’s last year and had a good experience.
But we went again recently , and had some awfully dry food with absolutely no taste . We told our waiter that we didn’t like it and he was rude about it saying we should have said it earlier. When it came time to pay, we all left a tip because we thought it wasnt the servers fault wasn’t a big deal. Except for one of us who was 16 and didn’t have lots of money so he didn’t tip. The server says “what you don’t leave gratuity for your servers?” Absolutely ridiculous we were shocked he said that. We were all very nice to him and we all tipped except for one of u, he didn’t even deserve any tip. Especially after we just paid $50 each for garbage food. Who does he think he is. If you get Alex as a server then ask for a new one or go home. He’s awful. I also posted a review like this last week and I came back to see it was deleted somehow ?

Took our reservation and asked to leave since we had a small pet in kennel. It was super windy to sit on the patio. The manager could have told us this when called to make a reservation as we drove 30 Kilometres to just grab our lunch

Food was good. My husband loved his fish and chips and the hawaiian burger is superb. Alex, our server greeted us right away. He was pleasant and attentive to our needs. Will definitely come back.

Ordered take out here. Got the bison burger with poutine and Holy moly... the burger was so good. Messy, but that good kinda messy where you're licking your fingers clean and happy. The poutine was awesome too, authentic with curds, good gravy and fries. Great food, and the interior of the restaurant looks really nice. Shame the place doesn't get more traffic because they've got it going on. Highly recommend.
