Windsor Lounge

We have explored each part of the Prince of Wales Hotel from the gift shop to the lounge and even the restaurant. We’ve heard fantastic presentations about the place every night at 7 o’clock, which is always fantastic and done by young people who are passionate about their job and also passionate about the place. We went to the lounge to enjoy a couple of cocktails and charcuterie board, which was very tasty and had a wonderful selection of meats and cheeses and pickled items. What a fun night and the staff was fantastic as always. One thing you’ll notice if you visit this place, the staff could not be any kinder to you then they are here.

We had a great stay at the hotel. I made an error in my reservation and the manager was very accommodating and provided a great solution. The restaurant meals were very good.

Wow what a view. Atmosphere and service great. Beer prices very reasonable. You need to stop in and have a drink.

The Food and service was absolutely amazing, Ashley our server was fantastic, she was so detailed in her service and explaining the details of every meal. She was great at convincing us on how great the features of the day would be. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy more of the wonderful food they create here. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere, the food made it feel like we were eating a home cooked meal.

Even though it was the last afternoon tea of the season, it was pretty busy. I'm glad I booked a reservation. Service and food were excellent.

Feel special with a booking for high tea and enjoy an afternoon the way our Mother County England has for centuries. It is a modern way to be treated like royalty without the old confinements of expectation. The flavors will endlessly wow your palate and the service is sure to please as everything is explained to you in great detail. This was the last weekend they were open and they continued to provide an excellent experience. Dining out in Waterton can be an expensive affair and this is now exception. Nevertheless you would pay a similar amount in downtown Calgary at an upscale restaurant but without the unforgettable setting so very good value overall. Definitely worth the treat. The food and service were top quality and I would not hesitate going again.

Beautiful dining room and gorgeous setting! We had the High Tea and everything was very good. My only issue was the flies in the dining room. Our server said they came from a nearby elk herd!

Very enjoyable evening out. We also stopped by the lounge for a pre-drink. I enjoyed the stories our waiter and presenting the menu with humor. Some items were not available due to it being the end of season but they were upfront about changes. Definitely worth an evening out especially with the views!

Had a lovely meal at the Royal Stewart Dining Room. Our server Ericka was friendly, knowledgeable and very hospitable. With only 4 days left in the season there was excellent attention to detail for our food, and the servers were so pleasant and helpful to each other. This was a great experience. Will come back again!

So much fun! Everything tasted great and the folks working there were so nice and helpful.

Our afternoon tea experience was wonderful. The staff were attentive. We were able to try many different flavors of tea. The food was all delicious. There is a nice view out to the water. It was an enjoyable experience.
