A nice hidden gem in pigeon lake! Always like to stop here when in the area. Food is good and staff are nice and pleasant to deal with. We got the hot turkey sandwich and the Ukraine perogy dinner (some of our personal favorites). Would highly recommend stopping in if your in the area or willing to make a small detour.

6 adults and 2 five year olds and what a great experience. The portions are huge and very tasty plus you could tell that all ingredients were made fresh for example the gravy for the smoked brisket sandwich didn’t come out of a box. You have to order the broccoli app which is to die for. We’ll be back now that we live close by.

Horrible experience
Firstly I want to say. Our waitress was wonderful. Our food was just ok. What made this a horrible experience was the owner that made an inappropriate comment after we requested to watch the Oilers /Flames game. He loudly responded what channel game do you want to watch,Chinese hockey? As he laughed out loud to himself. He was obviously intoxicated. A racist reference to Chinese folks that was sickening to hear. When confronted . He didn't apologize. He continued to make excuses for his comment. Needless to say. We will never be back when visiting the area.

Overall this place is pretty decent. Food quality was appropriate for the price. Really enjoyed the stroganoff. The steak was over cooked from what was asked for. That can happen anywhere though. Burger is delicious. Service was great. Took along time for the food to arrive but it was also a busy Saturday night. Our group wanted to stay longer but they closed at 8pm on a Saturday which was strange. Potential customers kept coming in to order food and drinks kept getting turned away.
Always absolutely amazing food and drinks! The ingredients are always top notch!! Always try to make a stop when we are passing by. Great for groups as well, just make sure to put in a reservation for larger groups. It's hard to say what is the best item there as they are all amazing but if I had to chose I would say the brisket stroganoff! Large portions and reasonably priced!

BEST BURGER OF MY LIFE! My daughter and I popped in for lunch, we both left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces. I forgot to take a photo my burger looked SO good, I ordered "The farmers wife" burger and it did not disappoint, I had to slow down eating so I could enjoy it longer. The environment and staff were great, I'd be back in a heartbeat!

My mom and just went tonight (Sept 10). We shared our meal as we both don’t eat a lot. We were both so glad we did. We had the Bruschetta, Brisket Beef Dip, and then Apple Pie for dessert. The bruschetta was delicious! The brisket beef dip was also delicious, I think the menu should tell you to get fries with the beef dip as the gravy that came with it was phenomenal!! If the sandwich had some melted cheese that would keep the very tender yummy pieces of meat from falling out of the perfectly toasted crispy bun. The apple pie was absolutely one of the best I’ve ever had in my life (don’t tell my grandma). Instead of boring pie crust it is served on puff pastry and the top is an oatmeal crumble. The apples were not tart nor very sweet and they were just the right firmness. Highly recommend!!

We went as a group of four. We had the beef dip, the clubhouse, perogy platter and a pasta. All were tasty and filling but not exceptional. We will return. It is quite loud being just a large open space with lots of teens and kids. Our server came when needed but was not bothersome.

I had to post a review for this Chef and his Restaurant. This is the absolutely BEST burger I have ever had by far. The beef flavour was unbelievable, and the sauteed mushrooms, house gravy, havarti cheese, house bacon (thick and flavourful), crispy potato hay, garlic mayo, on a brioche bun combined for an explosion of flavour! I ordered the Farmer's Wife portion (5 oz), and I was able to share a small portion of the flavourful burger with my husband (who also thought it was the best burger ever). I added a side of a Chef N House Salad which was very flavourful and nice. It had artisan greens, topped with pumpkin seeds, mandarins, dried apricots, craisins, and a honey lime vinaigrette. It is definitely worth the add! I paired it with a glass of Cabernet /Merlot for a wonderfully tasting culinary experience. My husband ordered the Fish and Chips which was Tavern Battered Haddock, fries (very tasty as I had a few), slaw, market vegetables, and house tartar with an IPA beer. He also enjoyed his meal thoroughly. This Restaurant came highly recommended by our family, and it didn't disappoint. If you are in the area stop by and check it out. It won't disappoint!
