A friend of mine and I spent the day running errands out of town and thought it would be nice to stay the night. We were surprised that the restaurant had had an issue and were closed for the evening we were there. We went to the cafe instead - and it was packed! Obviously, it was the only place available in the area so we waited patiently for the lovely server to help the line up trying to leave. She was visibly overwhelmed and trying her best, she did an amazing job given the circumstances. The food was delicious and they were able to offer gluten free options for my friend and we took our food back to hotel. Would definitely go again just for the cheesecake

Admittedly the food was fabulous, and the wait staff awesome. But you are walking into a “full service restaurant” which appears to be a cute cafe, one in which you would seat yourself. You will get a condescending lecture from the owner if you attempt to seat yourself. Upon exit you are expected to pay at the service counter rather than the table at the “full service restaurant”. I won’t be back. Owner is just rude and her staff apologized for her when my party left.

If you look at the menu for more than 10 mins and just request water while you’re deciding on what to order, beware because the staff will give you attitude and tell you to make way for paying customers, even though the place is basically empty.
Poor service, I won’t be back. Also a word to the owner - try teaching your staff some respect, and also don’t say you’ve “never seen me around” as if I’m some nobody who is too be lowly to be giving you business. I am myself am an entrepreneur and would never dream of treating my clients the way you treated me. I firmly believe all business owners should treat their customers with respect.
I will say that I experienced nothing but excellent service at all other business at The Village, but the terrible treatment at Eco Cafe was enough to leave me with a bad taste in my mouth. I hope you an learn from this and treat your customers with the respect and dignity they deserve.

The Eco Cafe is a must stop for me when I am in the pigeon lake area. It is the perfect rest stop after a long day at the beach. You can tell they put a lot of love and care into the food that they make by the quality and taste. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate not just the options they have, but the -delicious- options they have. Also the customer service has always been delightful every time I went.
Overcrowded,very noisy, took forever to get our food. Will not return!

What a quaint little find in the Pigeon Lake Village! Surrounded by a boardwalk with lots of other businesses, this was a tourist experience with all kinds of smiles. Worth an afternoon drive for sure. Cheers.

we didn't order any food, we came for the Cafe part of this establishment and gosh by golly are thier drinks amazing. Thier London fog is perfection, as is thier iced chai has the perfect mix of milk to chai ratio, and finally they have a very good cup of coffee. we were very pleased with our drinks and when we come here again we will be visiting this Cafe for drinks and will be trying thier food next. absolutely wonderous
