We dined there for breakfast today and were pleasantly surprised with the portion size and the quality of our meals. They also have a good lunch/dinner selection. The service was excellent. Our female server (her name began with a L) was personable/friendly and very attentive in checking in on us for refills etc. They have senior's special for breakfast and lunch. We would definitely dine there again.

Have been here several times , usually have the Fish and Chips , find it is very hit and miss. The most recent order tasted very fishy , and greasy, was not fresh fish. Coleslaw has no flavour. Fries were ok.

First of all 5 stars to the waitress. Fast and friendly attentive service. The coffee was also great. Probably made by the wonderful waitress. The food however would be best described as inedible. There were 3 of us. We ordered poutine, a monte cristo sandwich, and a single Chicago hot dog (which is $8.99 by the way - remember this). The poutine came with cold fries and gravy. The whole plate looked like grey mud. The sandwich also came with fries and gravy. The gravy tasted off. The fries tasted like freezer burned frozen fries that you get in the large bargain store brand bags. The sandwich was ok, but definitely made with barest of ingredients. The hot dog was a joke. It was just a regular hot dog with ketchup, mustard, and relish with a half slice of processed Kraft cheese on it. It was worth $1.00 at best.. if the tiny wiener on it wasn't cold. It was almost as if someone took it out of a fridge and threw it on the tiny hot dog bun. This lunch was a disgrace. We won't be coming back.

The food and the service was decent but I could hear the GM Glen yelling at his employees in a way that seemed very inappropriate and I’ve heard from people who have worked with him in the past that he’s been physically and verbally abusive to his employees on multiple occasions. Even though the food and service were nothing to complain about, I won’t be going back to this restaurant or hotel because I don’t feel comfortable supporting a business that is unsafe for the employees.
I got the complimentary breakfast. Excellent full breakfast.

Service was as expected, food borderline inedible however. Something wrong there. Fries like noodles. Frozen, processed, yet mushy breaded chicken burgs and things otherwise. Hopefully the place turns things around because there’s non-local, corporate competition real close by - rather support local. But not pay quality-demanding prices for what I was given, described best as gas station food :( sorry guys hope this is constructive and the next reviews prove better. 4 star service, 1 star food
