Big shoutout to Dairy Queen! Stopped in for a treat and was seriously impressed — not just by the food, but by the amazing service! A young man behind the counter went above and beyond. Friendly, fast, and genuinely seemed to care about making the experience great. You don’t see that kind of energy every day, especially in younger staff.
It’s little things like this that make a place stand out. Whoever hired and trained him — well done! He’s a real asset to your team. Keep up the great work, DQ!

This dairy Queen was amazing except I didn't appreciate the manager yelling at a worker in plain view of everyone. If you're going to scold an employee don't do it in front of everyone because it ruins the experience

Hot Friday evening, road trip up to Northern Alberta. Packed a snack for the road so we just needed a cone and some fries. Cone was dipped and it was refreshing summer magic.
One kid was being trained. Crushing it. Place was full of Westlock working teens and youngsters living their Friday night dreams. One grad even rolled in, gown on, citing “Terrible grad! Too hot!” “Bless this air conditioning”.
Gotta love summer, thank you DQ.

Not any good today. Window person could not hear, had to try ordering 4x. We had 3 sundaes. Got to the till, wrong size on order got small, which had to be changed to large. Charged us the wrong amount. So he had to redo the order on his screen, then subtract the amount we had already paid, because of his mistake. Bad! Really bad today.
