Been here many times over the years, first as a guest at the Best Western Wayside Inn and now as a resident of Wetaskiwin. The food is always tasty snd served quickly. Service has always been excellent and pleasant. Atmosphere is cozy pub-like. Try the deep fried dill pickles and definitely the wings (lots of flavours). Specials always are good as are all the menu items we’ve tried. My mother was fussy about restaurants but Barney’s was a favourite for her, especially “her” table by the fireplace!Parking: Huge lot beside the hotel.
The place wasn't bad but the people at the next table were so loud and annoying, they totally ruined our date night.

Excellent food. Excellent customer service. I've tried almost everything on the menu and haven't had a bad meal yet. Recommend the Jalapeno Cheese wings and the Salmon.

Everything but the food was absolutely amazing here! Staff 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 but the food was really bad..... I will be going back to try more but the dry aged steak was char grilled wayyyy to much to the point of it tasting burnt.

Stopped by for a quick bite of lunch on the long weekend, Jess our waiter seated us quickly with menu's at the ready ,she filled our drink requests in short order and took our food orders , the food arrived fast and hot and was very tasty. We have eaten here before and have never had a complaint so we will be returning again soon. Great job by the management and staff to keep the restaurant clean and efficient

When I was there last week I ordered dillpickle wings.. pretty sure they used popcorn seasoning and put it in the basket first and just put the wings on top of that. The servers are generally rude, visiting with each other across the bar and glaring at you while the customers seat themselves, at a dirty table. The music is loud, which isn't adjusted according to crowd or volume of sound in the restaurant. If you want to talk to the person/people you came with, don't go here..
