I was welcomed right away with a smile and friendly "hello", and seated promptly. Made my menu selection and placed my order, and was served my meal in good time. My server was attentive. I would certainly recommend the Crown & Anchor to anyone (bear in mind it is a pub). Oh, and you must try their Shepherd's Pie!

Good location with plenty of parking, place was busy! Unfortunately the food wasn’t all that great, it was wing Wednesday, we tried the pasta which was decent but the wings were basically inedible. The dill pickle wings were dry with pickle powder carelessly dumped all over them. The hot wings were better but still dried out. Our server was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is nice if you like the dive bar theme.

One of the best places to hangout in Whitecourt! The place is almost always busy and you must expect a wait before you get a drink on your hand! The food is absolutely amazing here, both the quantity and quality, and it's a great place for your gang to chill and meet new people too. It also has a pool table, for those interested, along with TVs to kill your time if you're alone.
