This is my favourite Starbucks, always friendly and add that extra bit of kindness by being conversational. The lady that served me was excellent the last time I was in, she was taking her son to the hockey game vs LA Kings in Edm and she seemed so excited for it..

Good day,I would like to share a recent positive experience with Starbucks in Whitecourt & Village Landing in St. Albert.On July 17, while on our way to Edmonton, my mom & I stopped at the Starbucks in Whitecourt, Alberta to pick up some treats for the road. With the treats in hand, we went on our way.On July 18, I discovered that I had misplaced my wallet. In a panic, we quickly checked all the recent areas we had been to. At the suggestion of my mom, we tried calling Starbucks in Whitecourt. Sure enough, the wonderful young lady on the phone informed us that it was indeed at their store & placed safely in their safe. She informed us that the manager would be back in the store the next day.On July 19, we phoned the Whitecourt store again & the store manager, Pinder Singh, answered the phone. To my surprise, he had been waiting for our call! I informed him that we were already in Edmonton, however, his reply would make my day. His response was that he was going to be coming to Edmonton the next day, July 20, & offered to meet us to return the wallet. I almost started crying. For some background, lots happened this week in regard to family matters & bad experiences, so hearing him say this lifted my spirits tenfold. I provided my cell number & he said he would stay in contact for a time & location to meet.On July 20, I received a text message from Pinder in the morning with a pick-up time later in the evening. Closer to the pick-up time, I messaged Pinder asking where to meet specifically as the meet-up location was West Edmonton Mall. Unfortunately, on his way into Edmonton, Pinder got a flat tire. My heart went out to Pinder as he was already going out of his way to assist. He asked if the meet-up time could be a little later, to which of course was 100% A-OK. Again, closer to the new pick-up time, I messaged Pinder. He provided where he was, & being where he was, I asked if we could meet at a Starbucks closer to where he was coming into town. He agreed. However, being that Pinder had somewhere to be, he dropped off my wallet into the safe hands of the Village Landing Starbucks in St. Albert. Ciara & her amazing crew kept my wallet safe. Ciara even asked for the wallet colour to verify, which is absolutely fantastic.To sum it all up, please please please ensure that these Starbucks employees are duly recognized for their phenomenal customer service.

I had a fantastic day at Whitecourt because of the drive-thru barista Jesse; he was kind and did an exceptional level of customer service. I was ordering a white chocolate mocha frappe, and I forgot to tell them I wanted the coffee-based drink, and they made the cream-based one. He ensured I was satisfied with my drink and gave me the cream based as well as compensation; he even asked how my day was, which is now very rare to encounter in a drive-thru order. Thank you, Jesse! I will definitely stop by again.

WORST Starbucks I have ever been to. Today I asked for lemon loaf, got banana bread. Have not had espresso beans when I have needed them and the staff is not as friendly as other Starbucks I frequent. I pay top dollar after having driven from mayerthorpe.I will always check my order at this shoppe.
