Don't judge this book by its cover, it's takeout only, but wow. I got the onion rings and the veggie burrito. The onion rings are now on my top five all time favorite list. And I've eaten onion rings all across the country and these right up there with the best of the best. The burrito again. Wow it's obvious the cook loves to eat.
The friendliest people and the best food. You won't be disappointed.

This review reflects my overall rating of this establishment. I have ordered food here a few times in the past 6 months. The owner-operator and staff have been pleasant. The items I have ordered off of their menu for the most part have been satisfactory. I will likely continue to order from this restaurant on occasion and do recommend it as a place to get a meal for between $12-$18 per person

So happy I "discovered" this place in the June newsletter "Only in Alaska." We are visiting from Florida, staying in Homer but wanted to visit Anchor Point and have a chance to see all five active volcanos across the water. We loved our al fresco lunch at Ramiro's. Guests are invited to call in their order (if you can make up your mind from the great menu posted on the front wall.) When we called, a charming lady came right out to take our order. The food was delicious and we took advantage of the lovely afternoon to enjoy our meal at a picnic table. Will's Bowl is a great lunch; we had it with chicken but also available with beef or as vegetarian. The onion-Swiss burger was oozing with cheesy flavor and the onion rings are fab! Don't miss this place on the Sterling Highway.

So when you get here you have to call the number on the shed to order. I called and was told that a burrito is 7 dollars and comes with only meat and cheese. As I wanted one with rice and beans the usual, I was told I had to buy two burritos for 17 dollars, but was assured they were huge. I told the lady on the other end I just wanted one huge burrito with all the fixings and she said it was not possible. Either 7 for one with nothing in it or 17 for two big ones with rice and beans also. There is no in between option.I don't get it.I just left.
