49th State always has a great atmosphere, service and food/drinks. I joined a large group event where our server Selcuk did a great job of balancing such a large group. Food and drinks were timely and delicious! I had the vodka raspberry soda made with 49th state raspberry soda. So delicious! The eggroll appetizer was delish! Highly recommend stopping by 49th State for excellent drinks and food!

My experience was negative. It always bothers me when I see a "seat yourself" sign and I end up sitting and waiting while wondering if I need to start waving my arms to be seen. I waited 15 minutes and a waitress finally showed up with a menu and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I asked for a water and she left to get it. After 10 more minutes of waiting and no sign of the waitress I got worried this experience was going to make me late for a flight and just got up and left. I understand every one is short staffed these days so I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

The day of my flight there was low staffing, so service was a little spotty, but I was in no hurry and the food was great. I ordered an elk burger and a spruce tip soda. After ordering, the food came out in a timely manner and was nice and hot. The burger was well seasoned and cooked as it should be. I wasn't checked on often, but I also wasn't afraid to politely get the servers attention if I needed it. I appreciated that there was a little "cafe" section on the side where you could get drinks or snacks from the fridge, etc without having to sit down in the restaurant side. The decor was a modern rustic and the seats were comfortable. I'll eat there again if I have a long enough layover.

49th is a staple for the tourist experience. However, the airport brewery goes above, and beyond the simple tourist performance. The food was excellent (wings, beer cheese, pretzels, beer etc.) but our server George was not only a Ninja with anything we "might" have desired but snooped on our conversation while bussing tables in order to pounce and place our orders with the kitchen. When it comes to airport amenities and food 49th and team George stole the freaking cake!

Open late (11) for the evening flights. Burger had salty charred flavor with crispy fat fries. Beer from one of best brewery's in Alaska.

Took forever to get a menu. No follow up. Left and went across the way where I got attention right away. Ambiance is lovely but couldn't get any help.

I ordered the $16 brat, which was clearly noted in the menu as having fries included. They brought out the food with no fries, and when I pointed out that the menu said “sausages come with fries”, the server seemed to struggle to comprehend the situation, and refused to give me fries. She insisted that the head chef said that fries were not included, despite the menu being extremely clear.Bizarre and infuriating.Update: had to take it to go since it took so long, and it turns out there wasn’t even mustard?? I don’t expect much from airport food, but I at least expect to get what’s listed on the menu.

Had a great experience. Had the King Crabby Grilled Cheese and tried a couple of their brews. The 8 Star Lager was great, and Smok is a must try. Enjoyed both. Restaurant is in a super convenient spot whether you're traveling out of B or C gates.

We intentionally come to the airport an hour before we need to every time just so we can eat here. Service has always been wonderful, but Geoffrey was exceptional, and manager Jerry was absolutely fabulous today in helping us resolve our gift card issue. We’ll be back!! Thank youI definitely recommend the caribou burger here too!

Great location and absolute solid choice for a food options flying out of Anchorage. I'm giving this review 4 stars because I like the original location, but as an express option 5 stars taking into account other airport food. I love the mouth watering King Crabby Grilled Cheese and you can't go wrong with the freshness of the Salmon Burger. 49th State also has amazing sides too. This location has limited merchandise, a bar, and plenty places to sit down to rest before your flight. The service was friendly and fast, and most importantly I didn't feel rushed to leave. I will be a regular at 49th State Brewery whenever I leave Anchorage. Cheers! DISCLAIMER: My average review score 3.42 when I made this review--(take with a grain of salt) (I rely on Yelp to go to places with good reviews, may account for the higher average)

Good to have this excellent place in the airport. Easy to meet folks before security check, or after you are back.

I was exited about this place opening at airport in anchorage, I fly here once a month. After I visited them for lunch I ordered their “Crab Artichoke Dip” this is the most disgusting food I ever put in my mouth, cheese on top of the dish was burned and it looked more like a disgusting rubbery dish.I made my waiter know about it and she apologized and recognized that it looked horrible. (I still paid for the dish)After this experience I have not gone back nor I plane to go back.

Opening this in the airport was a great idea. I’ve been multiple times. The good: The burgers, soups, and sodas are amazing, as are most items on the appropriately extensive menu. The service is friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Restaurant is clean and inviting. Prices are less extreme than you would expect from this airport. They were open on Thanksgiving (unlike most of the airport), when people are still flying and still hungry hours after Thanksgiving dinner. The disappointing: Specifically, I’ve had better Halibut Fish and Chips elsewhere (but some other people really liked them here). The Healy location has Yak Burgers, which are not found here.Overall: 5/5 stars

So the guy made us buy a 4 pack of the sparkling water, instead of just one. What are we going to do with the 3 extra? We are traveling and can't take them through TSA. Then he charged us extra for a dipping sauce for our chicken. The food was served warm like it had been sitting out for a while. It was very disappointing as we usually live 49 State.
