We stopped here on our way out of Anchorage to Seward. The coffee was ahhmazing- we have talked about it several times since we got it yesterday. But the best part?! The service! As someone from North Carolina I can say they put southern hospitality to shame!

~430pm 4/28/25 Girl was either having a really bad day/rude or possibly neurodivergent? I know some autistic people don't read social cues very well. Either way, if someone were to snap at me again like she did I would just not return to this coffee shop, it's hard to base a solid opinion on just one visit. If it's a neurodivergent thing, maybe customer service/dealing with people isn't the right fit for this person. The avocado toast was really good, coffee was ok.

First time here as it’s the closest ice to our new house…Ordered a 32 oz redbull Italian soda, breakfast sandwich, and a small cup of ice “ ummm I’m sorry we don’t sell cups of ice here, I can’t get that for you” •awkward silence* “is that ok?” I mean I guess so, you didn’t really give any option. You just refused to let me order ice……. Won’t be returning based on if you can’t put ice in a cup and charge it as a water or small Italian soda for all I care, then I don’t know that I want to trust you with a drink 🤷🏼♀️

I love this coffee stand and I love the people! They have never served me a bad tasting coffee ever and I have tried many of there flavors, Elvis will always be my favorite, me and my husband always tell people about this place and how good there coffee is!

I don’t like doing a post/review on the negative side of a local small business. One thing I hold highly is customer service, professionalism and respect. My mother in- law who I will go to the ends of the world for, went to this coffee hut. She placed her order with the barista, and the barista repeated her order back. But made the wrong drink for my mother in-law, she offered to pay for the wrong drink but wanted her original order. That when the owner jumped in being rude and disrespectful to my mother in-law in regards to her order. I don’t know who pissed in that owners corn flakes that day, but she was the wrong person to take out your frustrations on. So I will make it known that this is how you the “Owner” treats customers, I can only imagine you treat your employees the same... I will tell all my friends and family in West Dimond/Jewel Lake/Sand Lake area to go to your near by competitors( Java Hut, Common Grounds etc). Treat people with kindness and respect and provide professional customer service, and own up to all mistakes...
