Facebook page says they’re temp closing on Oct 21, 2021 to relocate, however as of 7:15 am on Oct 18 they are not open. Was really hoping to give them a try.

Posted hours say 6:30-3 however at 7:15 they were not open on Oct 18, 2021. Had to swing by the drive up coffee around the corner since I promised bagels to my coworkers.

Really good food, fast service, and great menu. Do not let the name of the restaurant deceive you, there are a lot more options than just bagels. If you are in the area and looking for breakfast this place is hands down your best option.

The alaska bowl is fantastic but they really need to figure out their over the phone orders. More than twice I’ve called at least an hour before closing and have been told that the kitchen is closed and they aren’t taking orders? This afternoon I called twice hoping to pick up some breakfast but they didn’t respond the two times I called them. I had a friend call them on their phone in case something was wrong with mine and his call wasn’t picked up either. The food is great but I’m too busy to dine in and I can’t see myself ordering from this business ever again.

My first attempt going here was better than my second. The first visit they weren’t open - even after I had checked their hours. I drove all the way over and found a sign on the door. Updating business hours online is not difficult - I know because I’ve done it. At least that day I went somewhere else and got a good breakfast.Visited for the second time yesterday and it was worse than the first. We got there with one person in line before us. We gave them our name for the order and told them we were taking a seat. DOZENS of people came and left following our order. Sure some where just for plain bagels to go, but many were people also eating there or ordering bagels with spread, etc. They also had a number of grub hub orders they were filling and sending out the doors. After 20 minutes of waiting for our two bagels with cream cheese, I went to the counter and spoke with the cashier that took our order. She checked with the staff member preparing the bagels and informed us they forgot about our order and would start making it.We got a simple “sorry about that” when handed our order. To top all of it off the bagels were doughy and the smear was barely there and poor quality cream cheese.I do not recommend this place - whether they are open or closed you may not get your breakfast.

What a joke of a place. Willie nillie hours, open when they feel like it, NEVER have the bagels you want. Perfect example of how to set your business up for failure! Would never recommend spending your hard earned money here, get your bagel at holiday gas station you’ll be much happier!

Downside: A little pricey (but what in anchorage or Alaska isn’t?) upside: the food is SO good!! Found ourselves coming back during our time in AK. Nicest owners and good service.

Really good bagels. We've tried their jalapeños & cheese bagels. They have a great deal on day old bagels.

My husband and I are eating in here right now. After reading several reviews that say that even though the service is bad, the food is good, we decided to give it a try. Very disappointed! And it wasn’t only the service, the cashier is obviously new, and clearly learning, that’s ok, I was patient. I order a coffee and she had no idea what I was talking about, the other coffee was a simple americano, both came wrong to the table. The food was also not OK, I ordered the the 2 eggs brunch, the eggs came raw in some parts, but the part that bothered me the most was the potatoes, they were cooked in some old fishy oil, the taste and smell of the whole dish was just wrong. My husband had the Alaskan bowl, I would say it was “decent” compared with everything else. When the waitress brought it to our table, she was like: “here is the AK bowl… no wait, it’s the cheese omelet,… (look at the order ticket) no wait! it is the AK bowl”.When other people reviewing say “the employees look confused like don’t know what they’re doing”, they aren’t lying. We don’t regret to come because I think everyone deserves a chance, now we know that we won’t come back or recommend this place, but you come at your own risk.I must add that before we left someone came to our table and asked me how everything was, I was honest and said the things I didn’t like, she offered to replace one of the coffees that came wrong, we were leaving so I said it wasn’t necessary.

I want to love this place because the food is so good but the staff is so disorganized, starting with the cashier. She’s rude, even to people who are patient with her.Every time I’ve come they’ve messed up someone’s order. Either nobody in the front knows what they’re doing or they don’t talk to each other. Despite this, the people in the kitchen make great food.Hard to love when the service is awful. Hope I can come back and give them 5 stars when they make service improvements.

I’ve been coming to Alaska Bagel since 2012, love their food. However, after today, not sure if I’ll return. This is the second time in the last 2 months I’ve got hair in my food! Not 1 piece but 2 smaller and one long.

I just picked up our order and it wasn’t what we ordered! They completely for the spread! Waited for ever to get what we ordered! Bought bagels to make up for what we didn’t originally get, and the extra bagels had mold on them!!! So very disappointed!!!
