Chowder flight was FANTASTIC! Overall meal, service, and experience met expectations of this highly rated restaurant.
Waiter told us the scallops were from the East coast. Menu stated Alaskan scallops. Ordered a chowder sampler. One selection was wrong. All were served barely room temperature. They did bring a sample of the correct selection and it was hot and good. We found much better places to eat. So disappointing.
Amazing chowders and fish and chips. Can't imagine such being any better anywhere else. Thanks Chef!
It was great!! The server was very friendly. The place was really nice. Totally enjoyed it.
Salmon overcooked, rice dry. It seemed like our food may have been waiting under the light. Would not go back.
Service excellent, food was good, except the "clam chowder" should have been called "bacon chowder." It just tasted like salty bacon. Period. And if there were any clam chunks, they must have been run through a blender. I didn't detect a single morsal of clam. Ambiance was nice. But we felt the fare was really overpriced.
Nice looking, newer restaurant. Service tries hard but is not refined. Several misses with the food. Sautéed halibut was dry. Lobster roll wasn't sweet (I lived in Boston, so I know lobster rolls), Manhattan Clam Chowder (I was born in NYC) was just wrong (tasted strong like BBQ baked deans or Brunswick stew vs. a light tomato based soup; could not taste the clams). So many better choices for the price- - Ginger, Simon and Seafort, Captain's Cove.
3rd time eating here! Fish & chips were amazing! Also loved the chowder! I'll be back!!! I really like the ambiance of this restaurant...it's so pretty inside.
I ordered the poached halibut which was outstanding. Super flavorful, perfectly cooked fish and beautifully presented. We were dining with friends visiting from Kentucky and they had dinner envy when they saw my meal. They raved about their shrimp dish and their halibut and chips. This restaurant is a new gem in town and we all highly recommend it.
I am not a chowder person but this chowder changed my life. Service was amazing. All of our dishes were amazing. The husband and wife owners built a goldmine.

Excellent, thoughtfully prepared dishes with exceptional flavor. We were welcomed by the GM and several kind staff who genuinely cared about our experience and making it great. Highly recommend!!
First time in Anchorage and we found this place on Open Table. We had an excellent server - very friendly & knowledgeable of the menu. We enjoyed the halibut bites as an appetizer and then both had the soup - clam chowder. We found the soup to be a bit peppery and thick but it was good. We then shared the crepe cake and thought it was a bit too sweet.
My wife and I took our son who was visiting from Brooklyn; it was our first time to eat here. Everything was wonderful, the front desk was pleasant, our waitress Cynthia was welcoming, helpful, and charming. The rest of the staff were obviously very well trained, friendly and professional. While we were finishing up, we were already planning what to order the next time we go. Pleasant ambiance, comfortable seating, good vibe. Not to mention the great food: We chose the clam chowder for our entrees, and fried halibut and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. Exquisite. Highly recommend.
The cuisine was delectable and the service was exceptional. The ambiance was incredibly soothing. It felt like a cozy home environment.
Looks brand new. Beautiful venue and menu and the food quality measures up to the pricing. Love this place!
