Customers beware!!! I was looking for easy, great tasting meals for my husband as I usually get home late and it's hard to meal plan, shop and prepare a meal. at first glance I thought this would the perfect solution and my husband could prepare with minimal directions. lol. we'll I signed up for 12 small meals on there delivery service and here is what to expect: 1. I live in Wasilla and it say it will deliver to wasilla but I guess that's not the case. they told me I would have to meet them in town. 2. I ordered my meals from the selected meals for the month and received other meals I didn't order or want!!! I thought perhaps I must have accidentally ordered the wrong meals, so the next month I documented the meals I wanted and low and behold it happened again... my husband is a red meat eater.... and I another 4-5 meal I didn't request and didn't receive the one I did request. 3. I complained to no avail and no response... wow horrible customer service. 4. the meals are mediocre, some tasteless and not worth the money!

I won a gift certificate from Alaska Dinner Factory on KBER 104.1. Some of the best dinners I had last month. Everything was included and recipes were easy to follow. Portion size was huge which allowed me leftovers for lunch. I tell everyone how great they are. I was so impressed, I bought my daughter gift certificates so she could try. Can't wait to try the Cincinnati Chili and the Shrimp Scampi. Thanks Dinner Factory for the wonderful prize.

So this is my second review. This time my husband and I bought the chicken Wellington. Well let me just tell you smelling this bake was torture. It smelled so amazing!!! Our tummies were rumbling so much half way through the baking time. Which I have to say this recipe is so easy a child could make it as long as they could safely use and oven. The problem was 100% my fault. Halfway through I was like hmmm it smells like there is something else in there besides chicken, so I should've asked what was in it but did not. I looked it up online and it has cheese mushrooms and bacon inside as well. All good for us except we do not eat pork. So. Basically made it and gave it all away to our niece. However she and her kids loved it! Normally every beef Wellington I've had before was just beef tenderloin inside the puff pastry so I didn't even think to ask. But what a bummer it was because it sure did smell good!!! If they ever offer a bacon free version I will have to try it!!!

I really enjoyed the customer service, choices and portions. That would warrant 5 stars. The food was just so so and that's why only 3 stars. I really wanted to love it. Pricing was definitely affordable.

Compliments to the chef! :)This is our first month trying the meal subscription service, and we're not disappointed! Everything we ordered arrived very well-packaged and thought through so the customer spends little time cooking/heating up the food before meal-time. They even utilize local businesses for ingredients like meats and pastas, and everything's tasted quite fresh!We've intentionally tried a few pretty different meal items to see how the different types of meals compared (cheesy ravioli, corned beef sandwiches, smothered garlic chicken, etc.). We've loved each one of them! They definitely go the extra mile to ensure you have everything you'll need, and have made cooking up the meal as streamlined as possible.My girlfriend and I live alone, so we didn't need as many entrees per month as the 'Regular' subscription. We asked about other options and found there's a smaller choice not available on the website that's just perfect for us! They also have a to-go freezer at their storefront if you're interested in trying some of the meals before subscribing.All in all, we're really impressed with the quality of their food, great selection of meals, ease cooking them up and stellar customer service when picking the right option for us and getting subscribed! :)
