First time visiting Amore's and it quickly became my favorite pizza joint in town. Owner was so sweet and pick-up time was fast! The crust is amazing, and by far my favorite part, it was the perfect chewiness that I enjoy and had a great flavor. You could tell the ingredients were fresh, good quality and the sauce to topping ratio was perfect. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending to others.
Writing this as we're eating it because I couldn't wait to praise this enough! Wanted to try a new local pizza place for my husband's birthday because we're constantly disappointed by chain pizza places. Amore did not disappoint!!! The topping ratio is perfect, the wings are tender and fall off the bone, the jalapeno bites are crispy and perfect amount of spicey. Everything is so fresh and the gentleman who was working was very sweet, opened the door for me...
I’ve tried most of the pizza places in Anchorage. And can honestly say this is the place you should go. Great pizza, fantastic dough/crust with a solid cheese/sauce balance that you can only dream of. Have had most of the other items off the menu as well and have never felt anything less than satisfied. Thankful we have a place like this in Anchorage.
