Beef teriyaki box and gyoza was $35, good flavor but definitely not enough food for that price. Definitely worth a try but don't expect to be full upon leaving.

Got Rainbow roll…roll was okay, disappointed they either forgot the avocado or didn’t have any in stock…not sure but no one said anything about it when I picked it up. Chicken fried rice was a ton of food, flavor wasn’t bad but wasn’t great and was hard to find the chicken ?‍♂️. I stay at the Captain Cook hotel often and have never tried this place because of the mediocre Google reviews. Decided to try it tonight—$35 later—unfortunately I must report that the Google rating is accurate. For the price, I’m walking a little further next trip. This could be a money-making place with all the Asian tourists but they have to step up their game. Will revisit in 6 months.

Always great food. Maybe needs some quiet music in the background.

Had meals there back to back nights while staying at the captain cook, food was amazing (not inexpensive though)Kid-friendliness: My 7 yr old was able to hang out and have a decent time with my extended family while we had dinner. It was a relaxed atmosphere which helps as he has a bit of the 'tism.

this institution does not know what real rolls and sushi are. I ordered delivery in the evening for 80 dollars, but everything except the ramen was not tasty and terrible. The roles were unfinished and simply scattered in the box! . I do not recommend it, it was not very good. plain rice with nori leaves and big chunks of cucumber - it doesn't feel like food. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

First off, the service was incredible! There weren't many people there at 5pm and the waiter still was faster than necessary, didn't hover, which was great, yet didn't let my water go empty either. The sushi? Oh man!!! Phenomenal! Had Beef Yakisoba also and it was just as good as the shops in Hennoko, Okinawa. Jalapeno crab stuffed poppers were ridiculous. I mean just crazy delicious. Never had anything like it and now I'm addicted! Go. Go and enjoy!

The only person there was not very attentive, nor helpful. We chose to eat elsewhere.

Worst shrimp rice in town, minimal flavor plenty of shrimp, too much cabbage and only carrots. For a downtown location I was expecting quality. I also tried the fried Oreos, I'm thinking the fryer oil isn't cleaned regularly.

We had an overnight stop in Anchorage. We had recently gottenn off a cruise and wanted something light, like Japanese. This place fit the bill. It was empty when we got there, so I was skeptical about the quality. But the food was very tasty. We both had Teriyaki Boxes. They were filling and very good.

The food was yummy but the server was not attentive. We were the only table in the place and had to refill our own water. They also add gratuity to parties of 4 or more, which is ok except its in such small print on the menu you can't see it. Also a bit overpriced.Parking: The lot is directly behind the restaurant but very pricey, about $10 for 2 hours.

Best lunch you can get downtown for $10 is the dumpling soup. Expensive sushi $$$. Great quick in and out

Very brooding and downtrodden atmosphere. Only one employee was working during lunchtime. Food was overpriced but fine. Most lights were off, messy and filthy kitchen. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Will not recommend. The outside is very sketchy looking and makes you feel like not even walking in. Food mediocre. Expected more since it being Alaska and close to water.

The sushi is excellent. We each had a roll and were so impressed, we came back the next day for another.
