“I have always loved ginger. I keep going back because of the consistency of the food and drinks. The Mac and cheese, chicken lettuce wraps and the meekrob are always delicious, but this last time that I went was so strange. I got the meekrob. The shrimp tasted fine, but oddly enough the chicken and the sausage in my dish tasted so fishy that I couldn’t even eat the meat. My boyfriend got the drunken noodles, and they were so salty that they were almost inedible. We do not complain when we go out, and I have NEVER sent food back to the kitchen. I’m not that kinda girl. I grin and bear it, but I was pretty disappointed this last time eating there. Born and raised in Alaska and local to Anchorage, it’s one of my staples, but I don’t know how much I’ll be eating there in the future.“

“Amazing American style Chinese food. If you are looking for the fried rice of your childhood this place is it. The mongolian beef is my favorite. The almond chicken, sesame chicken and fried rice are also good. The egg drop soup is pretty fancy but good.“

“Been coming back consistently for years. Varied pop-up menu, but everything we've ever had has been stellar. Always get the chili oil if you like spice. Anything they make with braised beef is my personal favorite. The price is worth it when you consider the local Alaska businesses they support as well as the fresh Hawaiian seafood. “Chicken fried rice is the best! The mongolian chicken is good, but on the sweeter side so I always ask for it to be “less sweet.” My family loves the California roll. The ladies are always really nice! It is pricey, but it’s our favorite place.

“I am a regular customer of Ghost Kitchen, they literally know me by name. The food is good, cheap, fast, and in a very convenient location for anyone in the UMED area. They are a local family business that treats their customers like they want them to keep coming back. I highly recommend the K-Spicy Hangry Chicken but anything on their menu is worth a try.“
