This place rocks. Say what you will about the decor Bangkok has me hooked. The food in two words "more please."

They serve some good groceries. They will make your dish as spicy as you want.

The seafood curry is to die for as well as the pad thai. The portions are generous.

BEST Pad Thai downtown. It's not even close.

Right next door to our office so it's perfect for lunch and takeout dinner. I love their pad Thai (I always ask for extra tofu) and tom ka gai soup. So good. Honestly everything is good, but be sure to specify a low level of spice as their dishes are normally kicked up a notch.

We stopped in to Bangkok Cafe after a long day of wandering around a glacier, so we were cold, tired, and a little run down. My friend and I shared fried spring rolls and the Tom Kha Gai soup with chicken. The spring rolls were ok, mostly cabbage with not a lot of spices. But the soup was to die for! Spicy, delicious broth filled with pieces of chicken, mushrooms, and a generous portion of green onions. Go for the soup! With rice as a side, it was pretty filling...and very reasonably priced. Yum!

The curry was watery and flavorless. The pad thai had a tomato ketchup like element. I think there has to be better thai in the city.

Greatest fried rice I've had in town. Try the mild spicy, it's not very mild....

I get the gang kiew wan curry with steamed tofu and brown rice. Like every. Single. Time. For. 6 years. Today I tried the bitter melon soup. Loved it. Look, not everything here is great, and the spot is typical Anchorage weird; but a lot of the dishes are amazing and I have never met a waitress with the memory of this lady. I haven't been in but maybe twice in the last three years, since my kid was born, and she knew my order and asked if it was what I wanted. Unreal service, and five stars for two Thai dishes in town: gang kiew wan and bitter melon soup.
