A bit overrated, just that's just from what I experienced. I've heard alot about this place, and I wasn't necessarily impressed.The calamari was indeed the best thing I ate. It was crispy in the outside and soft in the inside. Served with their spicy aioli. Buy I still preferred their cocktail sauce.Their alcohol/ cocktails were PERFECTLY made. I'm not a drinker at all, but I ended up trying 3 different drinks and they were all good. Not overly strong but enough to enjoy.The bison burger lacked flavor, but it wasn't dry.The fries had to be drenched in salt.Their carnivore burger was exactly that! Piled with bacon, pulled pork and another meat I can't remember.The burgers were cooked perfectly medium, so they were juicy.Onion rings were beer battered and crispy but didn't really taste like anything.Definitely good for big groups if you're not sure what everyone likes. Or just go for their large menu of beer or cocktails.I forgot about the jalapeño reindeer bites as they were SO BAD.It was a crunchy almost raw jalapeño that had been charred, with plain cream cheese and chewy pieces of reindeer. No flavor, just chewy cream cheese in a crunchy pepper.NOT MY THING. WASTE OF MY MONEY.I will go again, but all definitely have to venture on the menu.

Love Bear Paw. Great variety, great service. The pizza is fantastic as well as their club. Their fries are fantastic. They seemed double fried. The one complaint I had was the crab dip was very bland. Couldn't see crab meat in it. Other than that, great
Food was good. We had the reindeer sausage jalapeños that were very good. I also had the halibut tacos and they were OK. They were over sauced which messed them up a little. We had the soup which was a special and that was very good.

First time here. Waitresses were really busy so hard to get assistance when needed throughout the meal and took time to bring the bill ...it wasnt crowded. The food wasn't too bad? Tasted fresh , but the fish n chips batter needed a little more flavor. Bison burger ?was great.? Salad fresh. For 2 people I spent $80.00 (with no drinks just water ) ?? quite a bit. Clean and open area atmosphere wise.
Good food, nice place, open atmosphere, but wait help was a little dismissive, and I felt overly rushed through my meal.

The parking lot is a big problem. When I was here the snow was ankle deep in the parking lot. So deep I can't imagine anyone wheelchair bound getting to the door! You can do better Bear Paw..
Hostess service was poor. We put our name in for a table and somehow “the computer “ dropped us from the cue and we ended up waiting nearly an hour for a table. The food was decent but reminded me of chain restaurant quality like Applebees. The atmosphere was nice and overall the restaurant was decent but there are much better places in the downtown.

Updated 2024.02.27 It's a huge open space cavern well-lit atmosphere. Newspaper print menus provided for ordering. We don't recommend anyone ordering their bison burger as its a very lean meat and should only be cooked rare, anything more and the result is a very dry overcooked meat, will only cook it medium, might as well withdraw it from their menu if that's their policy.We ordered a barbecued meatloaf sandwich plus avocado, fries, a side garden salad to share, but the barbecued flavor was a bit too strong, should have ordered the regular meatloaf sandwich.This helps cutting the cost of eating out and not eating so much by sharing the meal with a smaller appetite. The service was very good.
