Service and wait staff are spectacular. Facility is very dirty. They need to shut down sections and clean floors and tables . Food and debris all over floors. Would not recommend until they fix these issues.

Horrible food and poorly managed. Waited 30 minutes at the bar before even being greeted and asked for a drink. Bar tender was overwhelmed and management should have prepared better. When we got our drink, a margarita, I might as well have been drinking a bottle of syrup. Didn’t even finish the drinks.
Food? Sucked. No flavor, it was just coated in grease. Best tasting item was the veggies. Steak chicken and shrimp had zero flavor.
It had been years since I’d been to Benihana and this is not what I remember. No interest in going back. If you wanna spend a 100 bucks on a dolled up Applebees, then have at it. Waste of money.

I’ve had Benihana’s in Anchorage twice. One dine in and one take out. Both times the food was blah, just not good. The rice had an aftertaste that we just couldn’t place. The vegetables were burnt. We got a shrimp burrito and it had 4 shrimps cut into pieces to make it look like it was more.
Do not recommend. Worst Benihana I’ve ever been too

Our server Cindy gave excellent service to our table of table of 8. Though our table was chatty she never pulled her enthusiasm or attentiveness always clearing our plates, topping our drinks and offering us more Chef Danny was a star with his table tricks and knife skills. We had two birthdays to celebrate, felt like they sent everyone from the back to help us celebrate. The manager Sandeer's team helped our dining expert was refreshing, entertaining and pleasant - just what our downtown dining experience needs.

Vic (our server) and David (our chef) took EXCEPTIONAL care of us during my wife’s birthday celebration the past weekend.
David’s only been out front for 3 months, yet his cooking (especially the way he cooked the main courses) was as good as ANY chef we have enjoyed the past 20+ years at this location.
Both employees were worth giving sincere plaudits to. We could not have had better service.
