Birch & Alder where have you been my whole life?! Tucked away roadside coffee shop, the burrata sandwich on focaccia is nothing short of a culinary success. The creamy burrata, crispy prosciutto (wow) perfect! Layers of fresh brightness, but the zhoug sauce (double wow)! When I say it’s a 10 out of 10, I really mean it’s an 11 an absolute must try for anyone chasing the ultimate sandwich experience. Nothing but smiles:)

Excellent baked goods and coffee, but service is inconsistent. I ordered a scone and had to wait 18 minutes for my coffee. The staff seemed frazzled, and I had to repeat my order three times as the counter person was multitasking. A bit more organization would make for a much better experience.

The only reason I gave it a four stars is the sandwich was pretty greasy, other than that this place is amazing. Their homemade oat milk is delicious, their sandwiches and scones are fresh and their coffee tastes well made. The staff is quick and friendly!

Arrived shortly before 9 on Saturday morning and service was friendly. Food was so good! Savory scone was delicate and buttery. The Everything was outstanding. Line can seem long but goes as quickly as possible and worth the wait.

Great experience tempered only by mediocre Chai. We ordered the seasonal scone (raspberry), the savory scone, the Bagel Experience, the sandwich special, and a whole mess of coffee. The bagel was amazing and should not be missed. My k ly complaints are that they were unfortunately out of the breakfast sandwich and their Chai tasted almost entirely of cinnamon, but the staff was friendly and patient even with our indecisive party.

This is the best Bagel & Lox sandwich I’ve ever had! They use fresh salmon and the coffee is great too!

Amazing lovely couple running this cute little restaurant/bistro with a stunning view. Perfect stop as you travel down Highway 1 from Anchorage! Not far from Beluga Point!

I discovered I'm not fit for civilization after coming out of the woods here for a treat. $5.75 for a plain latte. Waiter said it's common. I realized not only have I given up dreams of buying a house, but I can't even afford going out for a coffee. Can't say I tasted the coffee after my stop, big long line all afternoon. Come and spend all your money materialistic world of city consumers. Good owners. Five stars.

A must visit; worth the drive from Anchorage or Girdwood. The service is excellent - friendly, and helpful. Well-balanced coffee (tried both drip and americano). Mixed Alaskan berry scone was rich, flavorful and moist. The babka (Cinnamon) was the best I have had since Manhattan. Breakfast focaccia and everything bagel - full of balanced flavors and textures - perfection.
