I rarely get the chance to travel into anchorage. Out here in the valley I have clients that actually would not shut up about this place and since I had an event yesterday I figured stop by beforehand and experience what everyone keeps saying 😅. 1. (My fault) I was unprepared on what exactly to order and the barista (sweet as can be, dont remember the name) helped me with some recommendations.
2. The level of professionalism and kindness from my experience here was a refreshing change of pace due to past experiences and im in a different city. 😅

To the owner of this business I thank you and I want you to give my thanks to the employees working there as well. It may not be much but you have my support and PLEASE expand to out here in the valley.

I absolutely 💯 ♥️ love Miss Hoku ( I probably bombed the spelling of her name, I am sorry:) she is amazing, she makes fantastic RED BULL SMOOTHIES!! She always has you taste the drink if you do not like it, she will re make it. She is beautiful inside & out! Her energy is amazing & she always has a smile on her face. 😁😊🙂🙃
I have realized yes there is a long line,( unless you go the time I go,around 1-3am, but even then there might be 1- or 2 cars in line) but when you pull up to the window 🪟, depending on who you get, it is your time, it is about you for how ever long it takes to make whatever you are getting! ( I do understand not everyone makes you feel like that, but Miss Hoku & Mr. Steve definitely do, they both work very late, or you could say very early 😉!! ( Mr. Steve is also super awesome, his energy is great & he makes great drinks. )
I will say, I have read the reviews & yes there are a few ppl who work there that do not care, I have experienced it myself, 3 ppl working I am at the window & a guy is across on the other side. The 3 workers were talking, laughing, the one female squats down right next to my window & starts twerking as the other 2 laughed, the other car put his hand on over his face like ewww, this is disgusting! Finally after about 10 min, the young man brought me my drink, I told him what had happened was unacceptable, he tried to pass it off that he was making the other guys drink, I then asked if he would like to watch the replay of the twerking or should we start at the beginning which was about 6 min before that on my phone , he looked at me & said the drink is free today! 😆🤣😅😂
I was irritated, but the more I thought about it. We have to give these kids a break. They are young Adult babies. I am sure you remember being that age, what did you do during your job especially if you worked w. Friends, in a small box w. Music on. So , yes we want them to act like robots 🤖 & make drink after drink, but they are human kids. We need to cut them some slack, & remember it's just freaking coffee & redbull or lotus, whatever you prefer!! Lol. ( if it does bother you, go when you know certain ppl are working & make sure to scope the place out, before & go on the side they are working even if it is longer. I watched 👀 Miss hoku take care of 6 cars & the other side the 3rd car was pulling up, I know this because I was the 8th car. This was around 11pm.

First time at Anchorage, being jetlagged, I was looking for my double shot of espresso and a quick bite.
I found this place opened 24h.
The lady who served me at 3am on 09.30.25 was really sweet. Either she is the owner, and I give a thumb up, or she is an extraordinary employee and should be recognized !
The double espresso was of a very good quality (believe me as an espresso addict from all over the world).
Cheap, tasty, nice welcoming and service, it is a shame they do not have a sit in, I would have enjoyed the good atmosphere !
I'll be back!

I'm sure this place is wonderful and everyone is friendly. Go here for coffee for sure. Its cheap too.

My only complaint is if you ask the ingredients or if something is sweetened they need to actually check and not just tell you no when it is. This has happened at least twice now.

For me I've gone twice (because I forgot the first time which is why I'm writing this review so I see it next time I Google coffee/tea.) I asked specifically if their matcha was sweetened and was told no both times, but it is definately very sweet and not plain matcha powder. It tastes like desert which is wonderful for some, but not me. I didnt want to be bothersome so paid and took it, but it was so sickly sweet I couldn't drink it and had to pour it out.

6 bucks wasted again- at least its cheap. But now I'm losing time to find another coffee shop. Very frustrating on a tight schedule.

Nothing against this place overall- I just want to remember not to go.

One vehicle in front of me at 10:30am and it took them over 10 minutes to complete that one order so I ran around to the other side to get service and then I told them that the side was really slow and he’s like oh OK with a huge smile on his face. I asked for the owner’s phone number so that I could call and make a complaint. Apparently he sent over somebody that is the lead who does not apologize and says I’m sorry I can take your phone number. I can’t give out theirs.

Stopped by to grab our bear spray rental and got berry smoothies while at it. The smoothie was thick and fresh - Not the slushie kinds where the smoothie is just crushed ice.

The wait times can get a little high at times, so defenitely a popular spot for people to grab drinks.

The hot mocha is delicious. the london fog was okay, personally it needed more syrup. The barista was was nice, quick, and friendly.

Just now finding my taste in coffee, the barista was so kind and helped me through what I wanted and made it perfectly!

Super sweet, kind, and friendly barista. She was incredibly fast.

If you are in a rush, don’t bother to even stop here! They take forever, service is slow, and the workers don’t seem to even care about it! All that for a mid drink and some heated frozen sandwiches!
