The beer is phenomenal. I always have fabulous conversations with new people. The physical space is so inviting and clean. Chad really curates (apart from thee best beer) an experience of either meeting new people, bringing your family in for the food truck convenience and live music, or finding a cool spot to tuck away for a more intimate conversation or reading a book.
My stomach is a delicate flower and I never feel gutsy after Chad’s beers. He is always so stoked to help you pick something you’re in the mood for and non-shaming if you’re on an N/A journey!
Fantastic place with a friendly, fun atmosphere. Chad, the owner, was very welcoming and it was clear he loves his job. I’m not a drinker but went with my colleague and the place is worth it for the vibe alone. Nice one Chad.
First time in Anchorage, and this place made my day!! The owner is the friendliest person I have met in a long tima and the regulars made us feel right at home. Amazing beer, brewed with great pride and passion. I will come back whenever I am back in town. Thanks so much Chad and company.
Exemplary staff and service. While I was hoping for more than one porter/stout on tap the atmosphere and staff more than made up for this.
Chad is super friendly and the beer is great!
Rode my bike 30 miles for a Brewerks beer…the build up was high and it fully delivered. Excellent brews, delightful barkeep and such a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a can’t miss in ANC. Put it on your list!!
Chad (the owner) is awesome and makes some outstanding beer. On par with the big guys in Anchorage if not better. The personal touch and chill vibes of the brewery make it a must stop for anyone who loves craft beer.
This place is amazing! Great beer, great space, great people. If you want a place where you feel like you're family when you walk in and be treated to one of the best locally crafted beers in Anchorage you should go here ASAP.
Amazing beer!! Atmosphere is relaxed and fun!!! The Owner and staff will answer any question you have and are always willing to give a suggestion!! Would recommend to anyone!!!
Tried to go while while on a visit to Anchorage. I don't think this brewery wants new customers because neither tasters or flights were available at all which makes it very difficult for new customers to try your product. No lagers, Pils, or kolsh on tap at all.
Left without trying anything.

Great find. Hole in the wall mom and pop! My kind of place. Small, yet spacious and very clean. Front room, upstairs, and back “patio.” Run by the owner. Great experience! Thank you!
This is an amazing place. I couldn't decide on a particular flavor, and Chad recommended a beer based on what I prefer to drink. Very laid back environment and great beer!
The staff greet you like family and the beers always hit. Worth a stop anytime.
Brewerks is the kind of place you hope no one else discovers—but you can’t help telling everyone about it anyway. It’s tucked into an industrial corner of Anchorage with no frills, no fluff—just incredible beer and the kind of atmosphere that feels real. Inside, it’s welcoming in that quiet, unpolished way: barrel tables, a loft above, and Chad (the owner and brewer) probably behind the bar, pouring the beer he made himself. That kind of presence matters. You feel it in the space and in every pour. The beer is creative, clean, and thoughtful. No shortcuts. The hazy IPAs hit just right, the stouts are layered and rich without being overdone, and the rotating sours and goses are genuinely interesting—not trendy for the sake of it. You can tell he’s brewing for flavor, not followers. It’s a place where the beer speaks first, and then the people do—and both are worth listening to. If you like places where you can actually hear yourself think, where the beer is the centerpiece without needing to be flashy, and where the owner still cares enough to look you in the eye—go to Brewerks. It’s one of the best things happening in Anchorage.
