Solid, adventurous beers for those who like stronger and sweeter beers like Midnight Sun and Anchorage Brewing Co. offer. Very kind and social owner who tends bar most of the time. The establishment does not cater to kids, but I suppose that's not the focus of most breweries. No changing tables, high bar style stools through most of the building, open brewing space, and no non-alcoholic offerings. If you're looking for a place to meet with adult friends or coworkers in a Cheers environment, this is one of the best in Anchorage. If you want to bring kids (esp infants), I recommend King St or Cynosure.

The owner is awesome and is all about making good beer. The MIDNIGHTFUNKADELIC is delicious and if you like a sour you gotta have the All about the Briny. I will definitely be back.

This place is sick, a hidden gem. If you want a break from the “big names” like king street and 49th (and better beer), come give Chad and his brewery a visit. You will not be disappointed

By far, the best beers experience in Anchorage if not in Alaska. The owner/brewer Chad takes pride in the beers he makes. Chad can be found front and center greeting very patron that comes in, taking the time to introduce himself and ask your name. The beers are wonderful and full of variety. The tap list is rotating, so while your favorite beer may disappear it will likely be replaced with something new that wins your heart. The brewery space can accommodate a lot of people, yet still feels comfortable and intimate.Follow Brewerks on Instagram to see the schedule for tasty food trucks that visit the parking lot.

Rented out the facility for a private holiday party and it was everything we could have hoped for and so much more. We were a relatively small crowd of 20+ and there was plenty space for about double that in the tap room alone… The loft effectively triples that and was enjoyed by a few for more quiet conversations. Our shenanigans included a self catered taco buffet, gift exchange, and the proprietor’s beverages (all of which I tried were astounding and Chad can effectively talk each one up to anyone—connoisseur or casual beer drinker alike)… I almost hate to leave a review and ruin its ‘hidden gem’ status but far better to help the traffic keep this one around for years to come ;)Thanks again, Chad, we at AIGA Alaska had such a great time!
Best beer in Anchorage, and in my opinion, all of Alaska. Chad is as knowledgeable as he is personable. Never been disappointed by one of his beers. Something for everyone with a great atmosphere. If you drink beer, you NEED to stop in.

Good beer and environment, check out the upstairs. Try the hazy double IPA called I don’t play well with others.

One of, if not my favorite spots around town. Not a bad pour on the menu. And the owner is just plain good people. You will not regret spending an afternoon here.
