Amazing food, Excellent service, and friendly staff! We can’t wait to visit again soon!
Shannon really knows how to cook. Between her cooking skills, customer service, passion for food and genuine smile when you walk in, you can't get better food in downtown Anchorage. Today was my cheat day and I am so glad I went to Cajun Corner. I took home a 4 piece catfish, rice and beans, and fried okra. Everything was perfect! From the breading to the seasoning to the care in packaging my to-go order (which is rare). I can tell that they take great pride in their food. Now, if I just had another stomach to finish all of this. Thanks for the great service, atmosphere and food. Second to NONE!

I had the lobster dip and an order of shrimp. The man making the food was very friendly and whipped the food up quickly. The lobster dip was delicious, and I had enough leftover to put it in my scrambled eggs the next morning - delicious x2! The shrimp were super fresh and tender, and the seasoning was well balanced and tasty. Hope to come back!

I moved up here from Mississippi. This is not Cajun food at all. There's no discernable seasoning outside of salt and parsley. No blackening, no spice.
It's a good place to eat... but I really wanted some real Cajun food. This is just another seafood joint.
There's not much a menu, and it's not designed for individual diners but big groups. They don't make their own jambalaya, evidently? The waitress said they've been out of it for days.
You honestly will get better Cajun from Popeyes. Especially red beans and rice.
Thank goodness they've at least got a full house of Alaskan Brewing Co brews, though!
Take Cajun out of the name, and this is a good place to eat for the most part.

The flavor here is unmatched! We were so full we took a huge leftovers portion home. The red velvet cake was amazing and I appreciated the sweet tea served in chilled glasses. Can't wait to come back to Alaska and eat here again!

Cajun Corner is a hidden gem in downtown Anchorage, and I’m thrilled to have discovered it! As someone who has run a restaurant before, I know how challenging it can be to deliver quality and quantity, but this family-owned spot has nailed it.
We tried the red beans and rice, and let me tell you, they were simply delicious—rich, flavorful, and the perfect comfort food. The fried shrimp was another standout: crisp, perfectly seasoned, and served in such generous portions that they’re easily shareable. You definitely won’t leave here hungry!
And, oh, the homemade lemon cake! It was the perfect way to finish our meal—light, tangy, and just sweet enough to leave us wanting more.
This place exudes warmth and heart, and you can taste the love they put into every dish. If you’re in the mood for a hearty, authentic Cajun meal that won’t disappoint, make your way to Cajun Corner. Let’s support this new family business and help it flourish!

Excellent food and service. They were out of the jambalaya, unfortunately but I ordered the shrimp with red beans and rice. Because a local, I added "extra juice" to the rice which was a great choice. The breading was perfectly cooked and everything was delish.

Overcooked sausage. Saw a mouse in the restaurant and the staff didn’t care.

Ate here after arriving from our flight from Ontario Canada
Ordered lobster dip, Cajun shrimp and Cajun catfish with beans and rice
The portions were generous and food was delicious and the best I’ve had in a long time
The lobster dip was killer , the garlic toast it went on was in a flavour world of its own
