Red Beans and Rice! I had a simple meal compared to many offerings around downtown. Catfish and red beans and rice. Sooo good and the beans and rice are the best I have ever had. I just found this place, and I will be back.

Wow, this place completely exceeded my expectations! The vibe was amazing, and the wonderful lady who helped us was so friendly and attentive — seriously phenomenal service. The food was incredible! We got the fries (the dipping sauce for the fries was delicious), lobster dip with bread, and the Cajun Corner Platter. Everything tasted SOOOO good. Definitely a spot I recommend to anyone!

I just went here for my 18th birthday and had the best time ever!! They truly made my seafood boil dreams come true, the food was amazing, potatoes, crab, corn, and butter were my favorite so good. The two ladies there were a dream and even drew me a nice drawing on the table I will definitely be back.

Great little spot that sits across from another popular place that had a lengthy wait. Glad this place was there and we got to experience some great Cajun cooking. The The red beans and rice were amazing! I could've sat there and ate the entire pot they were so good. The fried catfish was awesome as well. Tasty seasoning and cooked perfectly. Staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. As visitors to AK we didn't know too much about the downtown area but they gave us the scoop on the local fare which is always nice. Overall great experience and would definitely return if ever in the great state of AK again.

We were looking for that *WOW* factor, and it hasn't quite been pinned down...Yet! We are hopeful for Cajun Corner.
We got the Cajun fries, which were stellar and inexplicably crispy. Additionally, our entries included catfish and Cajun shrimp. Both fish had little to no zeasoning, despite the fact that they were crisped to perfection.
I imagine if the recipe is tweaked just a bit and spice is added, and you'll have folks selling out more than the jambalaya (which was sold out by 7 pm, by the way)!

We were heading to eat across the street, but stopped here instead.. The choice made was not a mistake. Do not pass this place up or regrets will be had. Try the catfish, try the fried okra, try the cake. Everything is cooked in house, great service, and fast cook times.

Absolutely delicious Cajun food! This was actually better than the bucket I had in New Orleans and the staff was super friendly. I’ll definitely be back again next time. The red velvet cake was also to die for! 10/10!!!
The food is made fresh and the staff is very accommodating. On my most recent visit, there was just a young man working the restaurant by himself. Although it was not very busy, the guy was very welcoming and was able to answer the few questions I did have. The restaurant is clean and cozy, and the food is absolutely amazing. I got the fried shrimp with fries on the side and lobster dip. The fries and shrimp were some of the best I’ve had. Seriously they might have the best fries in the city! I wasn’t a huge fan of the lobster dip, but that was more so a personal thing. You can tell the food is made with care! Highly recommended this place!

I stumbled in here upon a friend's recommendation. It absolutely lived up to the reputation. I only had two available meal slots for my time in Anchorage and I spent both at Cajun Corner. :)
Shannon and Jared were both SO friendly and did such an amazing job caring for me despite a steady stream of customers. I also loved both the patio seating and the indoor space. I was struck by how clean the restaurant is - particularly impressive given what they serve!!
What the menu doesn't tell you is that they sell fresh cakes here! They live on the countertop under gorgeous glass bells and are available until they sell out. Given that I was here at 3 pm and 8 pm, I can definitely assure you they sell _out_! It gets busy in the evenings but service stays impeccably kind.
I chose two separate seafood boils: corn/andouille for my afternoon snack, and king crab + potatoes and corn for my dinner. Both were tasty, extremely generous portions, and well worth the price. I also had an IPA on tap, which came in a perfectly frozen mug. Keep in mind that seafood boils take time to cook, so be prepared for a bit of a wait (it's a feature, not a bug!).
