This place says they are open at 11am on Saturday. We got everyone ready only for them to be close. Please update your hours.

Stopped in for a quick bite and beer and wow, what a great place! Table next to us was enjoying some of the largest crab legs I’ve seen served. We had the lobster dip with some of the yummiest bread I’ve had in a long time. Lots of local beers, cans, bottles and tap. Owner catted with us and she is so friendly and engaging. We will return for more than a quick bite next time! SUPPORT LOCAL! #cajuncorneranchorage

Go early. Their jambalaya will likely sell out if you don't get there before 6:00. Also, service is sketchy. I ordered shrimp and fries. After finishing my shrimp I asked my waitress where the fries were and she said, "I wasn't sure if you still wanted those." Hmmmm. Last we spoke I clearly said, I would like the shrimp AND the fries. Don't know where the confusion could be. Just admit to me that you forgot them. Not a good waitress. Shrimp was fine.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Cajun Corner. Firstly, the customer service was top-tier. We were helped by the owner Shannon and she also was the cook and I cannot thank her enough for her incredible service. And now, the FOOD! Wow! Absolutely mouth watering. We started with the fried catfish and a side of fries. YUM! The crispness and seasoning was delish! But the show stopper and the thing I would recommend the most is the CAJUN CORNER PLATTER. This has everything I could ever want!!! The king crab legs were amazing and the seasoned butter was mouth watering. And to finish it off we enjoyed a homemade German chocolate cake!!!! And I'm still thinking about it. Absolute gem in Anchorage and we will be back!

I have been to the south as I lived in Mississippi for a year and had been to New Orleans a decent amount of times. I feel bad for writing such a bad review but maybe it was just what I had gotten? The service was lovely and the owner I believe? Was very kind. The place was really nice and clean, definitely has a modern southern vibe to it. Here's the thing: the food! The picture showed is jambalaya and if you have had jambalaya before you know it looks very... different then what's pictured. For $20 as well I'd say that's kind of a stretch. It was steamed rice with yellow and red peppers. The chicken was okay and the sausage tasted like charred reindeer sausage? I'm not sure. Regular jambalaya consists of chicken, andouille sausage, celery, onion, and green bell pepper. It was very disappointing flavor and price wise. But because of the service I'll probably go back to try something else and change my mind.

My wife and I came to Anchorage about 3 weeks ago for our honeymoon. We found this place on accident, we went for a beer across the street and couldn't get in... And boy are we glad we did. The catfish was delicious and the owner of the restaurant even gave everybody complimentary okra. My wife said red beans and rice was the best rice she's had... And as she puts it, "I'm Mexican. I know a thing or two about rice!"The hospitality was out of this world and it truly was one of the best stops we had in Anchorage for food :-) we will be visiting again

I had the most amazing Jambalaya and Lobster Dip for Lunch. I was offered a sample of German Chocolate cake that she had just made. I have been searching for decades to find somewhere that can deliver a cake that good, since the last time my Aunt was able to make one for me.

Best Cajun place in Anchorage. The Cajun Corner is a small but quaint place for casual dining. The food was amazing and the service outstanding. I would recommend you drop by if you enjoy Cajun delights. I will be going back for another catfish dinner, cooked to your liking. Come a little early because it's first come first served. Prices are reasonable because you will probably have some leftover to take home. So head out tonight and give e them a try.Parking: On street parking or pay parking right behind the place, very convenient.Kid-friendliness: My child loves corn on the cob but did not care for it with canjun spices. So the chef fixed some more with just plain ol-butter that made my little one very happy. And I wasn't charged extra. Very kid friendly...Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible for sure.

I really love this place. The atmosphere is just fantastic. It’s hard to explain but it’s awesome. Not a very big selection of food, but you should expect that it being a specific genre. I believe you can never go wrong with catfish. You get big ol fat pieces and they’re nice and hot. The owner is awesome it’s like we’ve known each other forever.

We went on the first day of our family vacation and we were starving. Being a Southern girl, I was skeptical of Cajun food in Alaska. The food we had shut that train of thought right down! Huge portions that we split. Fried catfish, red beans and rice, fried okra, and jambalya were all SO GOOD! I recommended this place to our tour guide so he could send more customers their way. Thank you for a little taste of the South so far from home.
