I’m biased. Yessir. But can say the Carousel has the BEST karaoke in Alaska. The best digital sound system, friendliest bartenders and karaoke host. I promise! Live music on the weekends. This is a very different Carousel than it was just a few years ago.

I was just in the parking lot waiting for my friend's to arrive so we could go in together when some lady came out and very aggressively told us to leave, and then when we were pulling out to leave the bar manager boyfriend kicked and dented in the rear passenger door as we were driving away. Very hostile place and lots of questionable things happening in the parking lot. Never go there

Nice local place to hang out and have a beer with friends I like sitting on the outside I'm listening to the music I'm visiting with my friends and this nice atmosphere! I will be returning to this bar!

Fantastic little spot! If I lived in Anchorage, this would be my go-to bar. I dont, but we still went twice in two days. The second time, we just grabbed a beer while waiting for a (delicious!) pizza from across the street.
They seem to have events on most days of the week. Thursday was karaoke. There are three pool tables. Drinks were reasonably priced. The patio is really nice!

I saw a sticker for this place outside a restaurant in Miami
I appreciate the fun atmosphere. However there were times when it seemed that the bartender was irritated by my patronage. No one ever likes to feel that you are doing a disservice by spending your hard earned money. However, my last encounter was very pleasant, which I appreciate. . . It's definitely worth checking out. Who knows? Maybe I just went on an off day?
