Been craving Dim Sum and was told this is the only spot in town. Menu is very limited and prices were steep for what we’re accustomed to. But as I just mentioned, only spot in town. We had multiple places we were eating at so we didn’t order too much. The bean curds were good but at almost $12, I’m not sure. The Har Gow were big and juicy. The spicy wontons were our favorite

Superbly delicious Chinese food. The vegetables were perfectly done: firm yet not too crunchy. The sesame chicken was tender and juicy with enough sauce. The chicken, mushroom, and asparagus entrée had a delicious, delicately flavored sauce that complemented the vegetables well. The chicken steamed bun had good flavor and was soft and moist. Staff was helpful, friendly, and kind. The atmosphere was well-lit and clean (dito for the bathroom!) Overall, it was a good experience.

Charlies has never had the highest quality of food, but it was previously average. We ate here a few nights ago and we were amazed at how bad it has become. The sidewalk noodles nearly had as many onions as noodles. Our beef dish was equally loaded with very poor quality onions. This whole experience was totally disappointing. We won't be back.

Busy Chinese restaurant with a bakery also. Prices are decent. Food is good. Hard to find a seat at times which tells you it is popular with tourist and locals alike. Go for some good Chinese.

Great cakes! We get them for all our family birthdays. The food is top notch. Been coming here for years.
Freshly made, delicious authentic Chinese food. We went to the restaurant twice, once when we got to Anchorage and once before we left. We appreciated that they were open with so many restaurants closed or only having take out options(this was during covid). We'll definitely go again at our next visit. They even had the sesame red bean paste balls on weekends!!

I recently went to Charlie's Bakery after not having been for a few years (shame on me!) and it was great. I got sesame chicken, spicy pork wontons, and a chocolate eclair. The wontons had a good amount of spice, in my opinion. The sesame chicken is perfectly sweet and crispy. The eclair was really big and delicious and not overly sweet. This is one of the best places in town for Chinese food. I plan on branching out next time and trying the crispy noodles and scallion pancakes!

Mongolian Beef and fried rice slaps. It's super busy right at noon. Get there early or there won't be tables. Parking is great, kid friendly. I highly recommend.
