I was dining with 3 others and boy, was this the right restaurant to randomly choose. We are so sad to know that this place will not be here after the 30th. Service was quick and food was spot on fresh! Everything was perfect from staff to everything about this place. We highly recommend this place to all. First timers but won't be the last. Order out Charlou!!!! Order to go last night. Awesome, tasty and hot. We had a BLT and the Big Buddha Bowl. Highly recommend either. The bowls are made for take out and super healthy! You can even create your own bowl!! A must for take out in these challenging times.

My experience while dining at Charlou wasn’t amazing nor bad. The waiter knew lots about the things off the menu rather than on the menu. Under the burger section, it clearly says “Ask how we can make it vegan/vegetarian!”, something the waiter didn’t know how to respond to. Although I completely understand your establishment is very new and the waiter may not be experienced in this field, I think the stubbornness to not ask because you don’t want to look bad not knowing something very clear on the menu seems somewhat unprofessional and childish.

I love Charlou We’ve been coming since they launched and they have always had excellent service, a varied and stocked bar with tons of awesome beers, wines and ciders. But the food is where it really shines for me. Everything is so fresh and so well made. You can really taste the love and care that the chefs and kitchen put into the food. Not only do they have a seasonal menu but they also have nights where there are live musicians, comedians and performers come to on stage. It’s a really intimate and beautiful atmosphere and I’m so glad to see they are finally picking up more customers because they honestly deserve the business. Bonus points for the fact they are VERY allergen conscious AND vegetarian friendly. There’s a lot of great gluten free/dairy free/meat free options here.

I had the clam in white wine and garlic butter sauce special, it was great! Comes with two in house baguettes. My husband ordered the Charlou AK pasta but I wasn't quick enough to get a picture. He The rockfish was a good, mellow balance against the zesty pasta. We recommend the frozen parfait with seasonal harvest applesauce. Delightful!
