We waited in line for over 25 minutes at the Northern Lights location , to then order a redbull and a monthly special lotus 2 very simple drinks , we then wait 10 more minutes for our drinks only to have them come out wrong and the special was missing things that made it the special … to top it all off baristas were very rude and short

I love going to the Old Seward Location. The Barista’s are super nice and always get my order correct.
Came by to get a coffee because it was late around 12am they advertised opened 24 hours. Well when we got there they were closed with all the buildings lights on very misleading they should fix that!

4 cars sitting on the left and right side for 20 minutes. Not sure what the hold up was. But the service is super slow. Left and went to a different coffee shop.
I was kind of surprised to see such low reviews. Anyways, both people working at 1300 on 1/17 were a delight. I didn’t really know what to order as I mostly drink plain coffee at home and I just told them I wanted something “fancy.” 😆🤷🏼♀️They asked me a couple of questions and one of them said “I got you” and gave me a perfect drink. It was delicious. Toasted marshmallow on top of some other yumminess. (Also, her eyelashes were amazing!) Thanks!
Full disclosure we are visiting from Philadelphia (City of brotherly love and sisterly affection) so perhaps we don’t know local hospitality codes (lots of complaints in existing reviews, standards higher here?). The coffee is delicious, our impulsively selected tea blend scrumptious (wished for a black tea other than English Breakfast but then I’d never have discovered rooibos!), and both young women were truly delightful! Friendly, responsive to questions, even provided suggestions when we asked about nearby gluten free breakfast options. We thought the pricing was ridiculously reasonable! Thank you for making a great start to our morning!

Went there for the first time, no 16oz - paid with card and tipped cash. Blonde girl tipped herself $1. Drink was $8 for a 24 oz and bank statement says $9. Booo never again!
The owner does not care about her workers, and will intimidate or invalidate past workers who speak out about their experiences. Plus, they are the most expensive coffee hut in town. It shouldn’t be news to anyone to not go here.
Love common grounds so much and this isn't to bash. But it would just be nice to know when the 24 hour location will not be open for the night. I looked in Instagram and the CGE website, even Google to see if there was notice of being closed but there wasn't.

not here to complain about any of the girls they all make great drinks! Just didn’t expect that they would completely ignore me after messaging there page on Instagram explaining I found multiple pieces of plastic in my drink and even showed pictures of my drink and they opened my message and never got back to me about so I’m little upset that no one cared to make it right.

tried to buy hot cocoa for a homeless woman i met on my walk, the dumb c_nt working that night shut the window, and just ignored me. I was not dressed in any way that even remotely suggests I was homeless. I even tapped on the window, not threateningly, but politely. She just ignored me. I noticed this is a chain business, I will be sure to avoid all locations, and tell all my friends and family to not patronize this business. You just lost at least 20 customers permanently.
