I went down here for my lunch break the other day for the fact that this is one of those places on Northern Lights Blvd. that I always miss when driving by and never on my lunch radar despite working nearby. Crostini Cafe is located on the aforementioned street between Arctic Blvd. and C St. next to Great AK Pizza Co. and across from Carl's Jr. The parking lot is small and challenging. You really need to slow down when approaching the narrow driveway into the parking lot. Once you are in, there is hardly ever an open spot by the entrance of the restaurant for the lunch rush. Instead, you would have to make your way to the very end of the parking lot at the rear of the strip mall to find a spot. It's really not a big issue, but it's a whole different story in below freezing weather especially with the wind chill bringing it down another 10 or 20 degrees. The dining area is small and cozy. It feels more like a dining room at someone's home rather than a business establishment. I was greeted quickly by a friendly server who motioned for me to take a seat anywhere and presented me with the lunch menu. They have the standard lunch selections of sandwiches, salads, and soups. I decided to try the Chicken Walnut Salad (diced chicken breast, walnuts, carrots, red cabbage, housemade croutons, Craisins, green onions, red peppers, and parmesan cheese with a citrus vinaigrette). I only had to wait for a couple of minutes for my order to arrive despite the customers who placed several before me. The salad did not disappoint and was incredibly delicious. The Craisins and the citrus vinaigrette complemented the chicken breast and the generous amount of romaine lettuce. The carrots were cut in a unique way which reminds me of Chick-Fil-A's waffle fries. A complimentary side of their signature Crostini came on the side along with a bread roll and butter. It was a pleasant surprise to enjoy a quality meal like this and still have time to relax before heading back to work.

I've had lunch at Crostini's countless times and it never disappoints! Everything is fresh and homemade. Ice tea is the best in town! Owners are super nice and service is excellent.

Had lunch catered from here today and it was amazing! The sandwiches are phenomenal and the cookies and brownies were still warm freshly from the oven! We will be ordering from them again soon!
