I visited this restaurant in February 2025 with my partner because he wanted to surprise me, but unfortunately the menu was extremely limited at least for my taste. The view and the service were great, but the food options left a lot to be desired.
Then, on December 2, 2025, my partner received a call from the restaurant regarding a reservation he had made months ago for December 31st. That’s when everything fell apart. The restaurant completely ruined a beautiful moment my partner had been planning for my family, who will be visiting Alaska for the first time.
They called to say that the New Year’s Eve reservation would now cost $145 per person, and that this price only included five small pre-entrée items and the only main course option offered was lobster and seafood, even though some of us are allergic to seafood. There were no alternatives, no flexibility, nothing. It was incredibly disappointing.
I definitely do not recommend this restaurant at all. It’s a real bummer, and the experience is absolutely not worth the money. This felt like a careless business and poor management decision, especially toward a family that planned way ahead with so much time and excitement. Very, very disappointing.

The view is not much to talk about. Service is great. Food is good. I think for anchorage it is five stars. It would be less in a major city but overall good experience. Squash salad was tasty. Black cod was not the best but decent. Again, fine dining options are limited up there in Alaska. This is the pinnacle.

Everything was very good. The risotto with side of wild mushrooms was my fav! My husband loved his ribeye and the drinks were top notch! The only reason for 4 star vs 5 was that the couscous had no flavor and with only a smear of puréed purple carrots there was not much to compliment the delicious scallops. Regardless we had a fabulous time and the staff were great!
Wonderful wonderful place! My husband and I had date night there. We had a nice booth with a beautiful view of the sunset. The food was perfection. I will be back!
We began with the Lobster Roll which was great. My wife and I both ordered the Scallops. They were cooked perfectly. We finished with the Creme Brule Doughnuts a perfect dessert for two, and Irish Coffees.
Outstanding food, service, and ambience. Every single person seemed to be focused entirely on creating a fantastic dining experience.
The staff at the The Crow's Nest is always personable and professional. Will definitely eat here again.
Service was great, food was very tasty and prepared exceptionally. The dessert was awesome and a great show (bananas foster). I will say that I was put off by the embarrassingly small portion I received with my order of black cod. It tasted great, but so disappointed in the portion size. I would not order it again.
Get the mishimi Waygu steak. Its ridiculously good!

Went here for my wife's 30th birthday. She is severely allergic to dairy and is also pregnant and the service was excellent at finding options for her to enjoy a nice appetizer as well as an entrée that was very delicious, flavorful, and decent value. They did not have any bread options for her, unfortunately, but she is pretty used to that. The service and ambience was very good and she really enjoyed her time and food.

The Crow’s Nest will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and now in my 30s I can really appreciate how special it is. The food was incredible, the cocktails were delicious, the caviar was some of the best, and the view was absolutely stunning no matter how many times I’ve seen it. Everything feels elevated but still comfortable, like fine dining without the stuffiness.

We always love our nights at crows nest. Other than the view, the food and service is why we return each time.
This is just our favorite date spot to go anytime we wanna do something special Ashlee our server was next level. All the food was phenomenal. That pork chop with a maple bourbon glaze is something I have dreams about now. I love it here.
