Today is my birthday, and I was looking forward to redeeming my free Crumbl cookie as part of the birthday reward program. However, I was surprised to find that I did not receive the coupon this year, despite being a member since July 2022.
When I reached out to customer service for assistance, I was informed that my phone number was registering as a VoIP number, which made me ineligible for the reward. I was shocked, as I had no knowledge of my cell phone number being classified this way.
I asked if an exception could be made given my lack of awareness about the issue, but customer service declined. I then requested points equivalent to a free cookie as a compromise, but this was also denied.
Unfortunately, this experience has left me disappointed, and I will no longer be purchasing from Crumbl Cookies.
